The revenant titan is a great model IMO. In fact the super heavy grav tanks from the same era are really nice too.

My favorites have already been mentioned - Mk I Bombard, Mk I Shadowsword, Mk I Reaver, Phantom (or Warlock) Titan and Tempest. One not mentioned yet - Mk I Gargant, especially if it's armed with a gutbuster!

Awww, I thought it was just one.

I could of listed list my favourites in descending order !

It would be easier to list the least favourite.....

Still thinking.

hmm:
Imperial Guard: Mk2 Leman Russ or Mk1 Thunderbolt
Marines: Mk2 Land Speeder, or Mk3 Thunderhawk
Orks: Magna-diver or FW Blaster Bomber
Eldar: Mk1 Revenant or Current Jetbike
Chaos: Slaanesh Subjugator or Mk1 Keeper of Secrets
Squats: Thunderfire Cannon
Tyranids: Trygon or Zoanthrope
Titan Legions: Mk3 Warlord, FW Warhound, or Mk1 Warden

from those, the top 5 would be:
Mark 2 Leman Russ
Mk1 Thunderbolt
Magna Diver
Mk1 Revenant
Mk3 Warlord

I think the coolest Epic model is the Imperator Titan, a great design and for how bonkersly huge it is.

Some of my runners up would include the EpicA Eldar Scorpion, FW Thunderhawk, Bloodthirster based on the FW one and the Land Raider Achilles.

the imperator is literally the model that got me into wargaming. there was a huge poster of it in the wall of the local comic book shop and i was all "i need to know what that is" and i think it's a great model, but it's no longer my favourite (if i didnt already have 3 amtl units it would have been in there

other honourable mentions are the original gargant and great gargant, mekboy speedstas (esp the bubble and missile versions) lungbursta and original pulsa rocket, original wave serpents, new style GW thunderbolts, Termites, FW Stormblades, current marine dreadnoughts, firelords and doom wings, any of the other slaanesh knights, and the original orky hopsplat guns.

Thunderhawk Gunships. Modern Warhounds (don't judge me). Old-school Reavers. The modern Space Marine chapter banner bearer.

I can't argue with that, I think it's a thoroughly brilliant model, and IMHO better than the FW version

being honest, I think checking out the E:A range of models really excited me about getting back into the game, there were/are so many excellent models in the range, from the ork dethkoptas to the lucius warlord, I really love almost all the models released for E:A

I favour the Eldar. They win in several categories.

i) Infantry: Striking Scorpions. Unless they are coming up against the likes of a greater demon, these troops are pretty much unstoppable and have cut many a bloody swathe through my enemies in the past. Keep 'em away from vehicles though.

ii) Cavalry: Vyper jet-bikes. The ultimate cavalry, fast moving, hand in close combat and you can really disrupt your enemy by sneaking these boys in behind them and popping a cap in the (poorly armoured) asses of very well armoured vehicles.

iii) Vehicles: Grav Tanks provide the ultimate in troop transport. They can fly over terrain and drop off troops quickly before sitting in behind buildings/woods to pop up and cause the enemy no end of headaches.

iv) Superheavies: Tempests. Massive range which lets them sit at the back of the board well out of harm's way. Plus under the NetEpic Gold rules they are even harder to kill!

v) Titans: Warlock Titan tooled up with double Pulsars. Ok, yes, you can be unlucky and have your Warlord wiped out on the first shot landed. Unlikely though as Witch Sight makes it more difficult for your opponent to land shots, and with a 2+ to hit roll and D6 hits per shot landed, those double pulsar usually knock out all of the shields on an Imperial Titan/Leviathan/Squat Collusus, etc. Revert back to favoured unit iv to finish off that Titan/Praetorian.

Out of all that, what's my favourite? Has to be the Tempests. They are almost always the backbone of my Eldar army, a and while a host is pricey at 900 points, they're worth the expense as they often end the battle unbroken. They're just too cool for school. 8)

Most of my favourites have been mentioned, but since I am an old-school veteran, my heart beats a little extra for Mk 1 Shadowswords, the prototype for super-heavies in my opinion; being an old-timer Ork player, the original Great Gargant with belly gun, such a whacky model; and the Phantom/Warlock titan models.

From a slightly more modern approach: I think the now defunct/OOP Eldar range is the most gorgeous one. The FW Stormsword is a mean tank as well.

Forgot about that. You can't beat the giant cockgun for spraying great jets of silky liquid death across the battlefield!

Edit: Delighted that comment beat the censor.

+1 - these, plus the mk3 warlord provoked a spur of the moment buying spree in the late 90s which are still the core of my armies in my 3rd epic revival today.

Though, for all epic versions its got to be ( partly because they don't seem to be getting much love ) : The land raider. Slab sides, exposed tracks, limited side fire arcs, sponson weapons that shoot their discounting passengers - proof that the rule of cool works!

:D
