I have to agree with Rug.
Having used both the Warlock and Phantom extensively I love it when someone's daft enough to try and air assault me.
Now here's the real debate: is it better to leave the Eldar titan dangling as a poisoned pill? or is it better to keep a Ranger escort to deter such an attack.
This ends up, I think, being a question of psychology and experience: if your opponent knows what it takes to nuke a Warlock, then best to protect your Warlock, because he probably won't undercommit (or if he does, it's because it's the last 'hail mary' in his game). OTOH if your opponent is inexperienced and likely to make a mistake in attacking the the Titan... then by all means don't interrupt him.
But even then, why not simply let the Ranger escort stray off, so your ambitious opponent thinks you've made a mistake -- i.e. perhaps a conspicuous Ranger escort can provide a tool to determine the time and place of your 'invitation' and your opponent's attack.
