Ha - politics! Maybe that's why I changed jobs 4 times in 14 years.
Maksim, if you stick true to yourself and all you believe in, there are to outcomes - you do well, or you end up leaving, because the situation becomes unsustainable.
I've never been in the military, but I too like my lines of command and comms to be clear and explicit, and to pursue clear aims and objectives. If others cannot set them for you, you have to do it yourself. It may work, it may end up with your moving on. I've been through 'moving on' a number of times now. This time round I'm hanging in and trying to make my own rules; a few like-minded types around help! I wonder how long it'll last.
But enough about me. Maksim, don't change - its not worth it. I know this job is important for you - I'm not saying that you should avoid compromise - just avoid compromising your truths.
If you're ?a good sort (and at least we lot here at Epicomms know you are) you'll make it, unless the place is too rotten, too far gone, and could never function any way.
Poor kids, though. They don't deserve a dysfunctional place. Not being there (or being a teacher, but just a lecturer, which is far less) just does not give me the right to blab about, of course; I just hope anything I ranted about could be of help.
We're behind you mate.
