Interesting concept sketches. Inspired me to draw my own sketch of the Abattoir.  :;):

Still, I'm worried about the ?berweapons but as I have not done any playtesting I can't have a definite opinion.  :L

Interesting sketches, indeed, and I'm the same, tempted to try and draw some concepts for myself, anyone know where the 'official' drawings came from?

Anyone else think the WE are overpowered? A skimmer with a 3 shot TK(D3) weapon with 120cm range?!?!?!?

I thought it was tk(1d6) slow firing?

Either way, it's a pair of Deathstrikes mounted on a DC6 titan. Not exactly balanced for 500pts.

Yeah, this'll teach me to skim-read - I was confusing the Abbatior CC attack with the daftly-named-Orb-o'-Doom's anged rattack :)

I do not feel like having to dig through tons of cow poo to find out. Did Jervis ever make a final call on the whole Pop-Up Attack issue?

Or did he leave it in the "No One is Happy" mess it was in a while ago.

Hmmm ... I'm not sure ... we just will do it the old way ... unit "pops up", shoots ... one unit on First Fire/Over Watch - "snap-fires" ... surviving "pop ups" go back down under cover. End that unit's activation ... :)

Hi!

Thats the sort of modification NetEpic did, using the old AT rule.

There were tons of angry exchanges, but I never saw a solution offered that was better then the rule L4 just outlined. :;):

Hi!

I dont think one exsists. We tried many and kept on coming back to the original AT rules.

As L4 says, if it works why fix it?

I and many others ask that very question when JJ posted he wanted to change it.

Seems he does not like it. All I saw he did was open the forum to a ton of posts arguing one odd answer or another. Some of the offered solutions were out right stupid.
