There was a version being worked on - it was on EPICentre.
It was 99% completed, just waiting on the final doc being drawn up by Dysartes. The reason it isn't public is because it is being pipped for Fanatic magazine.

Like the title says.... the pdf can be found on the official website.
We were looking at it today and were thinking about giving it a go... anyone else had similar thoughts?

One of the easiest ways to play solo is to build yourself some simple rules by which to operate both sides. This means you are more impartial when making a tactical choice. This is, in effect, similar to the old 2nd Ed Robot rules with priorities for units and kind of like the old Nid instincts.
I used to have different types for different armies and units to reflect their characteristics. Ie Guard could be (off the top of my head) Target in range - Sustained Fire, enemy in asaault raneg and > half BMs - withdraw etc.
Although subject to my needs as commander of both red and blue, this does give a good guide and stops you being a bit 'one sided'
