Good question:

I think I am going to work on my Titans some more, then my Space Marines.

I would love to do a Necron force, but I am going to wait until they do them. I am also thinking of a small Grey Knight Army (small like 3k or so) and a Sisters of Battle. The SoB will be my personal crusade once I finish some of my other stuff and finish the Titan Legion stuff on the SG forum.

Is there any rumor or fact for that manner that puts FW or SG will make SOB's for epic?

Jervis put this list of playtest armies out. (See Below)

He said a list will not have "units" that do not have minis sold by GW in it.

A Sisters list would have to have sisters in it, at least I would think so.

So logic says: Sisters are on the list, so at some point, they will have them.

Now how long you might have to wait? Who knows.

Jervis List:
1. (NA): Biel-Tann Eldar, Feral Ork, Siege Regiment of Krieg, PLUS Black Templars.

2. (July-October '04): Black Legion, Ulthwe Eldar

3. (November '04 - February '05): Necrons, Adeptus Mechanicus/Titan Legions, Imperial Fists, PLUS Orkamedies Gargant Bigmob

4. (March-June '05): Hive Fleet Kraken, Iyanden Eldar, Sisters of Battle (Salem), PLUS Siam Hann Eldar

5. (July-October '05): Tau, Hive Fleet Kraken Splinter Fleet, Blood Axe Mercenaries, PLUS Dark Angels

6. (November '05 - February '06): Chaos 'Lost & Damned'

7. (March-June '06): Blood Angels, Cadians

Some of those dates seem to have been advanced from the forcecast at the Specialist games website?

I'm sure Chaos wasnt for about a year yet, but you have now listed there...now!

Is this a typo or great news, significant in that its an advancement of the timeline?  That bodes well!:)

Hmmm... ???  I'm pretty sure those are just the playtest lists and not the actual miniatures ranges.
IIRC someone mentioned that Fanatic would only be releasing one Epic suppplement per year with some 2-4 armylists in each.
I also think it would put quite a strain on GW's sculptors and their production facilities to produce entire new races at this rate.

...But it would definitely be nice though! :)

This is something that puzzles me a bit. The end of the playlist schedule and the end of the publication/mini release schedule are years apart. What will be discussed in the gap?

Let me be clear. The list I posted is the dates Jevis would like to have at least started working on the lists.

With the assignment of Champions, Jervis is thinking we might be able to get stuff doneby working together.

As for this list of playlists and the mini ranges, there is no tie.

Jervis has not make any commitment to dates for "release" at all. I think there is a few factors at play here. Not the least of which is the over all interest a list gets and the speed it is worked on.

Look at the work Pixelgeek did on his Gargant list. He moved it along quite well. Clearly he has increased the odds it will come out sooner then later.

But my point was, Jervis has said on many posts there will be no unit added to a list that a mini does not come out for ir by SG/GW. That is why the CI was dropped from the IG list. He ran out of budget/room for it in the release. He was clear about that.

So if Sisters will be worked on, then Sisters will be a mini range. Now when that will happen? Could be months, or even a couple of Years away. It is just there is hope.  :;):

So not as happy as your earlier post, but still some incentive to get the lists done and playtested I guess eh?

The Policy of only putting units on the list that will be released as minis makes good sence.  I'd do the same thing.  The 'counts as' rules covers most things I suppose but it also leave us hobbyists some room to fit all the old cool stuff in with their special attributes too!
