Hi!
Hey, Warmaster, lotsa stuff!
Anybody with more than 100k total in epic stuff is most definitely "inner circle" material.
Actually Warmaster, your total force is the size of my IG army, which is the largest.
My Tau are pretty anemic and not slated for expansion for a couple of years.
I have expanded the SM, Orks and Eldar to 100k or so each and am currently trying to do the same for Chaos, Squats and Tyranids.
The slann are easy becuase they are entirely made of proxies, they tower around 125k.
Tau and titans are for the end.
Of course this doesn't take into acount new FW or SG models, nor Necrons.
According to my projected count the value in armies along, without titans will make the one million mark.
With titans 1.3 million when its all said and done.
This of course will take 5-6 years to accomplish and around 25,000 dollars...
...give or take a thousand here or there....

I love that here are people who care so much for this game/hobby that they put their money where their mouth is, so to speak. I love that there are others out there who can field armies larger then my whole collection.

Hi!
Competition is indeed a good thing. I remember the old guestbook from the original Epicentre website. There was one post about a guy who had a whole bunch of IG, more than I had at that time. Since then I vowed I'd beat that guy (even though I had no proof he had all that...).
I did, but now I see a lot of you doing the same with me. I find that cool and it keeps me on my toes.
It makes me feel happy that many of you are as insane as I am...
..I felt alone for the longest time...
...But not anymore!
Thanks!

Yes healthy competitiveness is good, but obsessive compulsive mannerisms are another thing entirely!
Maybe its time to revisit this thread? http://www.epic40k.co.uk/epicomm....al;st=0

Ah but this time we are not against him, we are joining him in his brand of Epic Primarchish Insanity.
I am looking to see what I can do while remaining under budget. Not always easy.

Interesting...
Thats worth compiling a total (like I did for everyone's Titans last year) and posting on the official Epic forum...:;):

Epic obviously appeals to people who like EPIC scale conflicts and will feel motivated to accumulate suitable forces...
Personally, I'm guided by how much stuff I think I could use in a heavy afternoon/evening game without having to split forces across several players... I reckon beyond 20k would be stretching it, unless I started using lots of big titans. Other people can add their forces to mine for bigger multiplayer games.
