Quote (primarch @ 04 2004 Oct.,14:44) | Hi!
Good analysis. Pretty much the same results I came too and as mentioned its a smaller difference between Epic A and netepic.
Try the same with marines and the difference grows.
Primarch | Of course the difference is also based on the formations you own, the difference would be greater or less based on the exact formations you own.
As for the Marines, I will look at it. Should be interesting.

Well I did a quick count of my somewhat neglected IG stuff last night and it came to about 15k painted, with about another 5k unassembled. My problem is my artillery is in awkward numbers now I have to use EA foramtions.
I'm behind the play on availability (trading wise) - but does any one know, what are my chances like of getting more epic40k era bombards, manticores and basilisks?
Would it be easier to trade off odd numbers I have and get new ones from forgeworld, or should I try and trade for the extras? (At minimum 1 bombard, 1 basilisk, 2-5 manticores)

Hi!
It probably easier to get rid of the odd ones you have and get new FW artillery pieces.

Hi!
Makes me wonder if we all should pool these odds and ends and let people buy up lots according to their army of choice.

..but your concentrating on squats, maybe they have reach "primarchload level"?
Primarch | Depends if I count the whole load or just the painted ones. I have about 10k of painted IG and exactly 5075 points of painted Squats.

Hi!
Odd, for some reason I seem to remember all my epic minis were yours and I was just using them.
|
Oh, you're good.
You win this round....

Quote (primarch @ 07 2004 Oct.,23:43) | Hi! As far as I'm concerned you can count EVERYTHING you own. It's your after all and in your domain. Count it! Primarch |
In that case, I may well qualify as an apprentice Primarch. I'll wait until my latest shipment from dafrca arrives and do the count then. But some rough statistics can be released at this point already. All point values are in Net Epic points, of course.
---
Eldar: I have a small amount of Eldar, all unpainted.
Imperial Guard: For IG I have about 10k painted, including Titans. I don't have much unpainted IG infantry but there are two artillery and rocket companies waiting to be painted plus 6 Beetlebacks, 6 Warhounds, 1 Reaver, 2 Warmongers, 1 Imperator and various FW vehicles.
Orks: Then there are the Orks. Actually they are my friend's but since he moved to another country and told me to take care of his armies I have been saying to him that he either sells all the stuff to me or starts to pay rent monthly...
Space Marines: I have some 45 sprues of unpainted marines, about 5 companies worth of painted 'uns and a 30cm x 20cm tackle box full of marine stuff I once got in a trade. -A small number of marine vehicles including 3 Thunderhawks and 3 metal AT vintage Land Raiders.
Squats: A rough estimate of all my Squat stuff is between 20k and 30k, not including the stuff in my latest trade with dafrca.
---
Further news forthcoming when the rest of the stuff arrives.
