Burn you at the stake? No, not that. Maybe just a few virus bombs from orbit, but not burning at the stake.  :p

I did not think the whole Knights thing fit into the overall feel of the 40k background. I just had a hard time with "They are independent groups with Titans" thing.

As for the minis, some were better then others.  :L

Favourite:
Infantry trooper - IG Codex Grey Infantry
Light Vehicle - Ork Wartrakk (Epic40k version) though the metal Space Marine bike from SM1 was a close second, it's probably as I have used the Wartrakk more in games
Standard Tank - Leman Russ (Epic40K version), this was a difficult choice as I also really like the Epic40K Space Marine Vindicator and the Ork Bowelburna, Lungbursta were also in the running.
Super Heavy - Capitol Imperialis is I guess my fave, but I also like the E40K Imperial SHTs and Ork Battlefortresses
Flier - Currently the E40K Ork Fighter Bomber, but I have some Forgeworld flyers in the post and I have yet to see the Landa in the flesh so this will probably change...
Titan (type and class) - Ork Great Gargant version 1 (all metal version from Space Marine)

Least favourite:
Infantry trooper - standard Ork Boyz, it's just okay when it could have been so much improved for both E40K and EA, I am also not as fan of the Shooty Boyz.
Light Vehicle - Ork Plastic Buggy - ugh when I first saw it I didn't realise it was a buggy, and was very disappointed with it!
Standard Tank - SM2 Vindicator, it's just awful, no debate, just awful!
Super Heavy - Leviathan - was always way out of scale and never seemed to fit in with other models
Flier - Space Marine Thunderhawk (all versions but the first version was particularly awful)
Titan (type and class) - Mega-Gargant, though the Imperator Titan was a close second

Favourite:
Infantry trooper: Old "Codex Grey" IG grunt.
Light Vehicle: E:A Land Speeder.
Standard Tank: E:A Predator or SM1 era Leman Russ.
Super Heavy: FW Mars Pattern Baneblade.
Flier: E40k Vampire.
Titan (type and class): "Beetleback" Warlord.
Other (in case I missed anything)
Tunneller: Hellbore
Knight: Eldar Towering Destroyer
Daemon Engine: Brass Scorpion.

Least favourite:
Infantry trooper: Catachan "Rambo" pattern IG
Light Vehicle: E40k Sentinel
Standard Tank: Mk2 Leman Russ. This is NOT the E40k one; that's MK3. MK2 was for SM2 and looked horrible. No detail at all.
Super Heavy: E:A Super Stompa.
Flier: SM2 Nightwing.
Titan (type and class): E40k Revenant or Phantom.
Other (in case I missed anything)
Knight: All of the SM1 Imperial Knights save the tracked Warden.
Daemon Engine: Death Dealer.

..do you mean the old Stormblade CS? -it had a plasma blastgun and a rack of missiles...

Yep, thats the one. And, I have obviously been trying to blot those horrible second edition tanks from my memory, as I completely forgot about them. The Vindicator jumps to the top of my 'most hated' list, closely followed by the Predator and Flying Brick Thunderhawk.

Oh, I forgot about them when I wrote the worst trooper. I would have selected the scouts, but I forgot because I do not own any. I got rid of them all.

We were using the SM SGT for Scouts, but now we use the new Scouts.  I like them ... even if they are a little big ! :D

Favourite:
Infantry trooper - Chaos SM infantry
Light Vehicle - Ork Warbuggies (Epic40k version)
Standard Tank - Leman Russ (Epic40K version), though I also like the different types of Imperial artillery (not really tanks but they fit into this category rather than anywhere else).
Super Heavy - Eldar e40k scorpions and cobras.
Flier - The Eldar e40k vampires and phoenix bombers.
Titan (type and class) - Eldar epic40k edition revenant - looked more like a war machine than a person in a suit - unlike most titans.

Least favourite:
Infantry trooper - The ork plasma gun boy because of his  skinny breakable legs.
Light Vehicle - Ork Plastic Buggy, just awful...
Standard Tank - SM2 Vindicator - 'the box'... I can't belive they even released it.
Super Heavy - Hmmm, yeah probably the stormblade.
Flier - Space Marine Thunderhawk edition 1, 'the flying brick'
Titan (type and class) - Imperator Titan - just too ridiculous looking for my tastes... plus I never really liked the knights.

Favourite:
Infantry trooper - SM sergent. Partly because it's one of the best infantry to convert, courtesy of its "open" pose. partly because i think it just look cool.
Light Vehicle - SM dreadnought (if they count here)
Standard Tank - I quite like both FW and E40k manticores. SM1 vindicator was a wonderfull cast for the time.
Super Heavy - Capitol imperialis.
Flier - Valkyries if they count, or else eldar vampire.
Titan (type and class) - FW warhound without hesitation. First and only really poseable titan, 'nough said.

Least favourite:
Infantry trooper - SM comander. too "plastic lump" to my taste. the cape obliterate details.
Light Vehicle - Ork Plastic Buggy wasn't a pretty sight, but i reckon the first "walking egg" sentinel is only good for bit scavenging in my opinion.
Standard Tank - SM2 Vindicator - I can't believe they even released it either. it just looked like a joke. Never like the SM2 gorgon either, nor the SM2/E40K era Whirlwind.
Super Heavy - Stormhammer, Leviathan; i must say i would melt any land train i may come across without remorse.
Flier - I reckon Thunderhawk edition 1 was ugly, but still i have some kind of a soft spot for old minis. I never really understood the first night wing; looked like a boat or a submarine.
Titan (type and class) - E40K eldar titans were horrible. I still see blister packs of those in some nightmares.

Just send me the cars first. Then have fun with your blast tourch. ?:p

I thought the idea of a land train was no worse then a walkingbuilding called a Titan. ?

Edited because dafrca was humiliated by a spelling error.
