Version 3.2 up in the Vault, more changes upon changes. Frankly, all the changes ocurring, I would advise anyone planning on converting an existing Chaos force to the Armageddon lists to wait a bit till things settle down. Unless of course you enjoy repainting or rebasing, that is.

my 2cents,
iblisdrax | This is why when I was playtesting, I first used just carboard chits and tried different list/units until the list was "finalized".
I remember the angst when some people forgot that the lists in the vaults were/are playtest lists and then bought, painted, or rebased their stuff only to have it change a few weeks later.
Me, I just tossed out the cardboard chits when it was changed.

Yeah cardboard would be good. I'm kinda in limbo with my Chaos troops, as I was assembling an epic40k force when Armageddon was released. So I just unbased all the troops, stripped the paint, and now I wait for a stabilized list before I finish them.

Either way, should be fun when Chaos comes out. That seems to be the "favorite" enemy for the Marines.

I think the daemons are more or less available to both the CSM and Cultists so they don't get a seeperate list per se. However I think that there will be individual CSM lists like Death Guard, Thousand sons etc. later.
Cheers!

Hi!
I agree, I'd backoff any major basing or conversions until the list is closer to being finalized.

Yeah, that is what I meant. Athough my troops will probably be Black Legion, the differences between them and the other Chaos legions will be minor, involving different stats or formations, not troop types. So you could probably get by with using one Chaos army to form multiple lists for different games. Unless you are one of those people who Has to have every piece in his army correctly painted according to army list....which I am not. Cant afford it even if I wanted to paint all those figs...:p

I'd wait ... if you're going to follow E:A dogma to the letter ...

Myself, I am trying to combine what I own into the new army lists, but not sell off stuff I "want". So what if I have a few extra stands of Space Marines left over, somewhere down the line they will be useful again, I am sure.
