Well we manage another game of epic. It was 3000 point per side and it was between Harlequin(4.2)and Ghazgkhull Thraka's War Horde (NetEA Tournament Pack 2013)

I played the Harlequin(4.2) and Britt played the Ghazgkhull Thraka's War Horde (NetEA Tournament Pack 2013)

Thanks for the report. I found it very interesting that you held back, would it have been possible to target one or two ork formations per turn?

Stunning play by the orks though.

Maybe..I think I would have had to deploy differently through.

Britt has health respect for the Mimics and so was keeping his back line safe....although having 650 points do nothing for two turns, has to be a killer

Not sure what else he could have done. There's no chance the mimes would survive to occupy an objective over 3 turns. The assault formations just aren't good enough in assault. Can we lose Scout on the mimes to make them cheaper, and drop 50 points from the players? I still don't understand why they are more expensive than mimes:
+ FF6+
- no scout, no teleport, leader is worse for the same points

Even with the stats they have, IMO neither formation stacks up to 8 aspect warriors
