So we finally played another game of Epic. My Gargants against Partisan_Nicks Minervans. Heres the lists:

G: BTS-Gargant sustains on Shadowsword killing it.
M: Thunderbolts go on CAP.
G: Supa-stompa on left flank doubles forward and fires on salamanders killing 1 and breaking the formation.
M: Salamanders doubles on right flank.
G: Killa kanz doubles in the middle.
M: Hydras doubles on left flank.
G: Supa-stompa doubles in middle. Fires on hydras for 2BM.
M: Tank Co doubles on left flank. Fires on killa kanz killing 3 and breaking the formation.
G: Fighta-bombers ground attacks hydras on left flank wiping them out for 1BM.
M: Tank Co on right flank doubles forward towards the middle. Fires on supa-stompa fdoing 3DC (4BM).

G: Fighta-bombers ground attacks tank co on left flank. Intercepting thunderbolts kills 1 of them. 1 tank is destroyed (2BM).
M: Warhound titan in the center doubles forward and fires on Supa-stompa and breaking it due to BM:s.

Turn 2: Minervans win Initiative.

M: SHT Co sustains on Gargant stripping all shields and doing 2DC (which turns into 2 crits!).
M: Tank co on left flank retains and advances backwards. They fire on the gargant doing 3DC (1 is a crit) and breaks the gargant.
G: Supa-stompa on left flank doubles forward and fires on tank co killing 1 and breaking them.
M: Salamanders on right flank holds and regroups.
G: Fighter-bombers ground atatck salamanders on right flank killing 2 and breaks the formation.
M: Warhound titan sustains on broken killa kans killing 3.
G: Fighta-bombers ground attacks broken salamanders on left flank killing 1 due to BM:s.
M: Thunderbolts intercepts fighta-bombas but only do 1BM.
G: BTS-Gargant doubles and hides from Tank Co behind cathedral.
M: Tank co on right flank doubles to center and fires on broken gargant and does 1DC.

END PHASE:

Gargant suffers 1DC from fires and rallies.
Tank Co rallies.
Supa-stompa rallies.

TURN 3: Gargants wins initiative.

G: Gargant doubles using "push em" rule on left flank and fires on SHT co for 1BM.
G: Gargant retains and engages the SHT Co. 5DC are made on the SHT Co for the loss of 1 shield.
M: Thunderbolts stand down.
G: Fighta-bpmbers ground attacks salamanders on right flank breaking them due to BM:s.
M: BTS-TAnk co in center advances and fire on Supa-stompa in forest for 1 DC (2BM).
G: Supa-stompa on left flank doubles with "push em" and fires on hydras for 2BM.
M: Tank co on left flank advances towards Supa-Stompa and fires on it stripping 1 shield (1BM).
G: Fighta-bombers ground attacks salamanders on left flank braking them.
M: Hydras advances and fires on supa-stompa on left flank breaking it.
G: Supa-stompa on left flank sustains on tank co killing 3 tanks and breaks the formation.
M: Warhound titan doubles towards left flank and fires on Supa-stompa stripping 2 shields (1BM).

Turn 4: Gargants win initiative.

G: BTS-Gargant engages BTS-Tank Co. 2 tanks are killes for the loss of 3 shields. The Gargant wins the combat and 6 more tanks are killed due to hack downs.
M: Hydras marches to right flank to claim T&H objective.
M: Warhound titan marches to claim the Gargant blitz.
G: Supa-stompa, with the help of the SC, doubles towards the gargant blitz and fires on warhound doing 2BM.
M: Thunderbolts go on CAP.
M: Tank co retains and engages Supa-stompa on left flank. no damage is done to either side but the tank co wins the combat.
G: Fighta-bomber ground attacks warhound titan by the gargant blitz. Thunderbolts intercept and kill 2 fighta-bombers. The warhound breaks due to BM:s.
M: Salamanders doubles forward on left flank and fires on supa-stompa for 1BM.
G: Gargant in center doubles forward and fires on Broken BTS-Tank Co but it survives (due to got damn fearless commisars!)
G: Fighta-bpmber stand down.

0-0 in objectives.

Gargants win on points 2080 - 1300.

Fun game! I was really lucky with some saves. I should have lost atleast 1 supa-stompa more with average dice rolls.
Fighter-bombas where the heroes of the day breaking units left anbd right.

Gargants weathered the attrition game. But again, with more average rolls they would have gotten more hurt. I never felt really scared of loosing on objectives. And a win on points in turn 4 was actually a little expected. If Nick would have had Shadowswords in his SHT co instead of baneblades it would have been a worse day for me for sure.

3rd win in a row now. If this continues i have to think again about the list and it getting approved...

Interesting game. Thanks! Didn't know you were aiming already for Approved status.

Mordoten, kyussinchains. If you have time, a decent way to know would be to try to switch sides and play again. Do that with at least two different persons, better if they are veteran Ork players so they understand the list, and let's see. So far from what i know from the Battle Reports that happened once since its creation.

yup we're working on it, but with the EpicUK grand tournament in a few weeks I'm going to be practising for that in my limited gaming time, will focus on OGBM and Red Corsairs in the fun period after november

What we have to hope the most right now about this list would be on hoping that Mordoten ends up convincing the Swedish Community to use it on tournaments. That would be a huge help to the list.
