So, which of these three sources do you use for quick/easy/online/phone access to army list makers and calculators? I've been using all three, but I've noticed that while Brumbaer's is my favorite one in terms of utility (because it shows the stats for the units you select), it is out of date and using the 2015 tournament pack lists. The NetEA Armyforge site is still useful, but doesn't show the stats of the units you select, and I'm not sure exactly how up to date it is. Then there's Battlescribe, which is also out of date.

What do you guys use? Ideally, there would be a website with functionality like Brumbaer's but that is constantly updated with the army lists and stats from the Tournament Pack that gets updated every month.

Is there another source I'm missing? I just want a source for army lists and army building that I can access easily on my phone or wherever

I use Army Forge, as it is updated often. Didn't know about others.

army forge. Brumbaers is nice, but out of date as you say.

I keep armyforge as up to date as my personal life allows, the downside is that it's not optimised for use on touchscreens...

That would be sweet - normally I'd put my hand up but with newborn twins it's not very likely to happen....

It would probably be wise to get stats from miniwars for the tournament lists at least, since that would make them consistent with the tournament pack

well, I got in touch with the guy who runs the AGen site, and he basically said that he doesn't have the time to go through and find all the updates, but that if I go through and find all the changes and send them to him he can update the site.

So I'm working on that.

As for ArmyForge, what I'd love to see is the same kind of list of stats that gets built for the units you've added, so you have a kind of short reference sheet for the army list you have.

Also, I'd love to see some minigeddon options. Like adding in the suggested additional units to make some armies easier to make lists for, or even making a little checkbox where when you mark that you're building a minigeddon list, and then it removes all aircraft, all formations over 400 points, and adds in the minigeddon formations.

Personally I'd rather avoid having all the unit stats in armyforge, its an army building tool and right now is pretty elegant and easy to use, having the unit stats is as simple as having the relevant army list pdf open on another tab, I personally dont see the need to complicate things further

For minigeddon it would probably be easier to have a separate minigeddon list section like we do for the heresy lists, adding options to the main lists would be messy and inevitably cause confusion

I agree with Kyuss on both things. Stats are not needed and a minigeddon-list should be separate.

well, Brumbaer's AGen is updated now, all the armies are updated to the Tournament Pack of June 2016, just Tyranids haven't been done yet (and the 3 new lists that have been added like Imperial Fists).
