That was an interesting and very enjoyable game. I originally made a Squat Army for this game, using the old Demiurge Consortium v. 5.0, but when I went to ArmyForge I found (IMHO) the new list and downgraded stats to have completely nerfed them, so made a Orc Army instead.
I'd tried Ghazgkhull's Orks unsuccessfully before against Eldar, so thought I'd try the Gargant Bigmob. All up, it performed much as I expected, though my Gargant's proved to be poor shots. I really didn't expect much from the Boyz as this is a CC army, and I had to fight FF.
My plan was to advance on my left and take both objectives on that side, smash the bikes with Gargant Artillery, and roll forward turn four after giving the Eldar unacceptable losses. Good play by Greg prevented this, both in discharging those Guardians/wave serpents in front of my Blitz and destroying the Big Loota Mob on my left that was suppose to do the thrust to the far left objectives. I also made two big mistakes turn 1 in that I didn't check that he had no aircraft..so my aircraft should have staffed bikes, not CAP. I also forgot to fire my Gatling Cannon at the bikes, just the two twin soopaguns.
Like I said before, we both had a very enjoyable game and that's the important thing. Thanks Greg, for a great game and great AAR. I'll try a non-BL Chaos Army next week.

Just received the new Epic UK lists via Greg, so I'll try their Squats next week instead of Chaos. Still can't see why the Squats, noted for their firepower and personal armour, have stats reduced to this. Wish someone had upgraded the Demiurge Consortium with original stats instead. Ah well, we shall see how it goes next Tuesday or Thursday. The War Machines look good, but I'm an infantryman at heart. ;D
