Hi all, have any Ordinatus rules specifically for EA been published or hinted at anywhere yet? Warmaster Nice's recently published conversion (a terrific piece of work) has set me planning a pair of my own, similar in appearance but with a different approach, to accompany my standard Ordinatus Mars. Incidentally, my planned Gargant army is spawning an enemy - a heavily armoured IG/AdMech army with 2 Leman Russ-equivalent units and several support tanks. So - do you think the Ordinatus would accompany the Titan rules? Any related news?

I would think the Ordinatus rules would accompany the titan list (the Ordinatus are Adeptus Mechanicus artifacts and weapons after all), but you would have to wait for the actual release of the AT list for the minis to be re-released or re-done.

Great idea Vanvlak.
Warmaster Nice's recently published conversion (a terrific piece of work) |
Thanks!
Anyway: Yes, I think the only list likely to feature an Ordinatus would be the TL/AM list. As for models I really hope that they will be doing new ones... The old ones were weird machines (as they should be) but quite frankly not very attractive.
I guess you could borrow the weapon stats for the Armageddon from the Plasma annihilator on the Imperator Titan. ...Can't really remember if anybody has come up with stats for the miss?les on the Warmonger titan but they would make a good start for the Ordinatius Golgotha. The Sonic disruptor of the Mars is a bit more tricky...
The veichle itself could be something like Speed 15 cm Armour 5+ CC6+ FF5+ DC3 and a couple of void shields. Give it some secondary defence systems like bolters. I don't know if it should have additional Reinforced armour or thick rear armour... After all the Ordinatus was as good as invulnerable during the first couple of turns in SM/TL...
Cheers!

I have one of each of these models and I like them. They are deployed with my Titans and Scutarii/Tech Guard.

At the back of the rulebook in the collectors models section, is specifies that a new Capitol Imperialis wont be released until 2005! ?Please dont tell me we dont have to wait this long for Adeptus Mechanicus stuff. ?

If not longer I'd guess.
The new Phantom & warlock titans have been pushed back to the new year & the Swordwind release will be of the original models (possibly no bad thing, although the new revenant is gorgeous so I'm certainly looking forward to its bigger cousins!).
The Ad Mech army list is not even a part of Stormwind & thus the miniatures wont be released until at least the 2nd supplement is published, so we're looking at late 2005 to early 2006.
Just to be clear: Yes, I am a freelance painter for them & thus do know various bits of "insider info", but take nothing I say as being written in stone!

Anyone noticed that Epic traffic there has slowed to a crawl? It seems as if the EA crowd has largely come here and almost abandoned the SG boards.
For those of you who frequented the other game boards, how are they comparing? Has traffic there also dropped off significantly?

I've noticed, it seems that the General is the only one with (semi)regular traffic (although I've rarely been anywhere other than Epic) The Epic portion seems to barely get a question/reply once a day.

The General Discussion board does seem to get a lot of traffic. The Epic board has indeed slowed considerably (do we have more than one page of discussions yet?). The same has happened with the Battlefleet Gothic board... but I dont really know where the posters are going, as the Yahoo Group has not increased dramatically in traffic as far as I can tell.
