Managed a game against Steve54 last night, thought I'd try out the enlarged vindicator formation so took two of em (also, freshly painted they needed a baptism of fire)

I took lots of pics, but as usual, as the game wore on, I started forgetting.... so it kind of peters out halfway through turn 2 as is normally does...

DG BTS retinue doubles

stormtalons go on CAP

Fellblade doubles up and kills a single stand(!)

Chaos preds are hit by something... or maybe this was them moving up and shooting the fellblade.... I forget

vindicators double and hit the preds, killing 1

Defilers double up and hit the vindicators

second vindicator formation moves up and hits the retinue AGAIN... all hits are saved.... grrrr

plaguehound knocks out a vindicator

Tacs double to prepare to engage T2, they spread out to avoid the worst of the nearby plaguehound's barrage
IIRC the plaguehound then singled and managed to hit the tacs, killing FOUR stands of marines and a rhino.... grrr
