Great report. Nice to see LaTD getting a run out and also nice to see my aspects I am painting currently (spiders and banshees) getting along well together.

Thanks for the report!
Not everyone takes the time to play and publish reports as you do. Keep them coming. ;D

Not sure if you wants them or not but here comes some suggestions/tips/questions as always...

1. Don't tell your opponent but the Hellfire Cannons can actually garrison and usually starts on overwatch when they do ;)

2. Advice: When you engage with the Eldar I see that you often lack support and almost never use the consolidation move (15 cm or more) to get into position for the next assault. And on top of this I rarly see you use retain (or tripple retain). In my opinion supporting fire, tripple retain and the ability to move into supporting range with the consolidation move is the key to playing Eldar. Thats whats makes them so good. Not sure if this depends on that you don't have any good opportunities or not but in games I have played (with or against) these abilities are used very often.
Next advice is clipping assaults. Take for example when you engaged the Coven from the gate in the beginning with the Guardians. Not sure from what direction you came but it looks like you could position yourself fairly good. In my games I would never have positioned myself so that all mutants could retalliate. My army would have stood at the edge of 15 cm and the mutants would have had to move towards my units to be able to hit them. That way it would perhaps only been 6 units who could strike back and with their low FF value you would have won. (statistically anyway, it looks like the opponent rolled seven 6's so it might not have mattered :) )

3. How did you manage to whipe the Leman russes? Did your opponents borrow your dice ;)

4. When you engage the Coven and intermingled the plague tower you really should have used a clipping assault. Not really sure how you could have lost that battle when you made 5 kills unless all cultists and the plaguetower coult fire back. By staying a bit further away the tower would not have been able to participate.

5. and a little bit later you do number 4 again. Stay out of range, intermingle and break two formations if your lucky.

6. A little strange to use the commander to engage some warwalkers with both a coven and the plague Tower but as usual I was not there and it might made sense...

Anyway nice report and fun to see that you manage to fight almost every approved army :)

Looking forward to next weeks report

Thanks for the answers, just trying to give you some feedback :)

And I think one of your main issues will be hard to do something about. Your opponents seems to have lucky dice and you got the bad ones ;) (the coven hits better then marines and the guardians seems drunk)

I do not think that you have to be super competetive all the time but just to make an example of the difference in playstyles between your gaming groupe and mine:

6. in the group I play the tower would have moved within 15cm (thus denying take and hold) then it would have fired upon something, probobly not the WW. A little bit later the coven would have moved in and engaged the warwalkers with supporting fire from the tower. Guessing the outcome would have been the same...
But as always it is hard to tell whats good when your not there.

Now I'm off reading the other report :)
