True but anything would have taken the Reaver down the way PFE100 rolled the dice ;D . Nothing but perhaps a good CC made any difference this time. The Titans had a really really bad day and were taken down. Play the same combat again and the Reavers would win 9 out of 10 easy
(Wait until we see some tests when they attack infantry, infiltrate hitting on 2+ and FS is really good.)

We all make mistakes sometimes :)
(and actually I think the Titans won by 2... No BM vs BM +2, More then double the number +2, 2x Inspiring +2, kills +7, Roll +1 = 14)

Will try and test the Howling Banshees in my next battle. Its Infiltrate on a CC oriented unit that is really good. Ignore ZoC and double speed so you can get those hiding in the back in base to base. Goodbye to the Tau skimmer shield :)

HB with infiltrate will give them a longer assault move and permit them to ignore ZoC allowing them to target desired targets, BUT only where the target is within 30 cm to start with. 'Naked', they probably need to be moved last in turn 1, and first in turn 2 to make the most of this.

They are probably still better off deployed with transports (Wave Serpents are better than Vampire) both because this increases their mobility and also because the transports provide better armour saves. That actually means that Infiltrate becomes a secondary threat when the HBs are deployed by Vampire, and less important when they have Wave Serpents (though still usefull).
