Hey guys - whatcha think for the Coatl Warriors?





There's something about the helmets that I'm not getting sold on. I like them, but I think the character of the heads is too good to cover up...what do you think?

Coatl Warriors are armed with a mecana and displacer shield. Both items employ a similar technology which generates a field of energy that bi-locates matter to an entirely separate and random timeline. The shield used by the coatl warriors generates a "window" of this energy along its surface, forcing any object which would otherwise strike it, such as enemy projectiles, into another reality entirely - leaving its user unharmed. The Mecanas used by Coatl Warriors project this same energy along its edges, which simply "erases" any matter it effortlessly carves through, rendering nearly all defensive methods completely useless.

I agree about the helmets. They look great, but the toad heads look even better. The lower toad, however, misses something that shows off his elite status. Maybe you could try some ornamental head pieces (like the Slann of old) that are more symbolic than for the purpose of armour.

I think the helmets are to angular. Maybe try curving them more to match the other bits?

Headdress and no helm for me. Looks like a mean frog (not something I thought I'd ever write !:-) )

I love the helmets, but the headress is nice too.

Not digging on the shield though. Don't like the face on it, I think it would work better with an abstract design instead.
