please see link to my fourth battle report using the Wartorn Rules. The Rules have undergone a number of changes as they continue to be playtested.

Looks like a truly epic battle their! I'm glad the game still had the balance that was intended after the point value changes and formation reconfiguration.

It was an awesome battle that lasted about 4.5 - 5 hours. would have been a bit quicker if it had been played between two different people instead of against myself. (Takes a bit of time to go from one side of the table to the other and think about the other armies options in response to the moves made by the other side). A bit of a meatgrinder in the middle there, but I wanted to explore how maxed out large Formations would hold up against each other; maybe next time I might take slighter smaller Formations but more of them or more Characters. Playing 1500 points with the reduced cost of Formations and the extra ranks has made a big change to the Rules. I prefer many units with a few Command figures to generate several Formations/situations where there is not always a high Command Value Character in range to address the situation.

Hope to have the amended rules out by the end of this weekend.

I do need to change the battlefield terrain and get rid of that large human fields and village sitting on one flank; this would give a bit more room to not only deploy but also manouvre.
