Ok, had my first game, using the USMK list -and also started a ToEG thread for my orky army.
BA USMK vs Dark Angels 3000p
My opponent had 6 units of termies, chaplains, and a unit of land speeders -1 unit of termies in land raiders, and assault termies in Thawk. Not an ork players dream, for sure.
I had 2 big warbands in a Kill Kroozer (with drop kanz), 3 units of kommandos +2 gunzmob (on overwatch) garrisoned, small blitz brigade (3x Flak +oddboy), a big Tankaz formation, 3x3 Fightas, a Bommer+Stormboyz =14+1 activations.
Before the first turn, I placed my small units in a thin green line in the middle, and the tanks near the blitz. The SC arrived in the first turn.
3 units of damned termies arrived early, killing my 2 vehicle formations, and they dominated my deployement zone from that moment -till the end of the game. The drop kanz arrived close to the 2 T&H objectives, routed a big unit of termies+land raiders. And then, the assault termies arrived with their Thawk, and intermingled my 2 big warbands -9 CC attacks, 9 hits, 0 succesful nob armour saves, so I badly lost -a full big warband wiped out (20units +warboss!!!), thanks to the combat results, without any termie loss.. (The dice wasn't on my side -truly against me, while my opponent was very very lucky ,especially with his armour saves..throught the whole game). So the downfall begun.
The termies sustained fired my small units, one-by-one, and I was unlucky to get out a single land speeder formation (3x3 fighta bommas, for 2 full turns just attacked them, with 3 losses in total, without breaking them..) I'm usually not blaming the dice very often, but this time, Lady Luck was against me!
Another example: at the end of the 3rd turn, as my last activation, 6 units of kommandos (without blast markers) engaged the blitz guarding formation of 3 units of assault termies in FF (they have 1 BM). No losses from the FF (surprise), so check the combat results: +1for having no BM, +1for the termies BM, +1because I have more units, +1for twice as many, -1 for the termies chaplain = +3for the kommandos. I rolled doble 1s, my opponent a 6. Till that point it was 2-2 VP, and it became 3:0 for the DA. I lost the blitz, the T&H(as a scout formation kommands had them both), and the they shall not pass.. Was funny a bit -at the end it was just a test game, not a tournament one!

So, I was a bit surprised,that the list is somehow balanced -I recognized that the basic ork lists units were simply changed to more BA style ones -like the Stompas for Big Wagonz -same 4+ RA, same 3x Big gunz -however the stompas are slower, but better in CC. But the lost the option for a Supa Stompa -which is a powerful war engine- is more painful. There should be something instead of it -the BA list is a bit WE light. the new, unique Big koptaz are a bit pricy and don't have RA. They are just skimming Battlefortresses, for a price of a Gunfrotress. -BTW why the Battlefortress is not in the list?
The Bommer is a bit overpriced -it's not a Landa (for the same points cost), can only transport 6 stormboyz, and has no RA. Simply weaker, less flexible for the same points cost.
The kommandos unit is a good one, their infiltrate is very useful, they are cheap and flexible! I like them, and I plan to use them more, to see how they work..
