That sounds like a typical GW tactic...unfortunately one that wont work with a niche game like epic. All us 'old' gamers with existing armies would just go 'pfffbbbbb' and play the game with the new rules/old minis, or just use the old stuff altogether.

Just imagine how big a titan would be in 10mm...
...then imagine how much would it COST...
....perish the thought....

Like Primarch, it's the cost of a 10mm game I would worry about...
A single Land Raider for ?10!!!
However it would look fantastic (considering I already think Epic looks fantastic).
1/200th Micro Armour does look a lot better than 6mm, ah well, one can dream...

10mm but still only 15cm for a firefight.
Why didn't they just make the land raider a little smaller? the scales were fine as they were, and now everything will be more expensive?

Hi!
There's no doubt the models would look gorgeous, look at some of the warmaster stuff, it would be the same scale.
The downside is that battles would look more like skirmishes than sweeping affairs.
There is already one 40k, we dont need a 10mm version of it.

6-7mm is fine ... "Come to your senses man!" I hope the rumor of making Super Heavies, Thunderhawks, etc. even BIGGER is just musing ... "Someone Stop Him !"

Primarch | On the contrary, that's just what we need: dump the 28mm version and make a 10mm version! That way even us "Spacially impaired" people could play...

Making superheavies slightly bigger is fine imo- the problem was that the old vehicles were simply too small- the land raiders in particular looked like it would be a squash for 10 Terminators in each one! I love the new bigger FW IG superheavies... and as they are cheaper than the GW metals.. hehe, well, you know which I'll be buying..
Oh, and its just my luck to not have been able to check the pic of the day when the Scorpion was up- anyone got the adress saved?

Hi!
The older models are true 6mm scale, the newer ones through the years are 7-8mm and now they are pretty much flirting with 10mm.
As long as its only the real big models getting enlarged its okay.

I think scale increase has been present in a lot of GW stuff. I'd compare some Eldar from the 90s to present Eldar, but then I no longer have either. Oddly enough, the LotR figs moved up a little bit.

Hi!
I think your right. GW seems to be increase the scale across its lines.
