Had another games against the Codex Marines. A really fun game that started great for me but went sour in the end...

Setup:

I set up all my titans on the left flank where both my T&H objectives and one of the SM ones where placed. The SM garrisoned their scouts in the middle. Other than that the SM spread out over the whole table.

I wrote wrong on the picture, theres no whirlwinds there. Theres a warhound on the left out of the picture...

Turn 1: AMTL wins initiative.

TL: Quake-Reaver advances forward and fires it's MW-barrage at the Tacticals (BTS) across the board. The Barrage manages to catch the Predators also. 1 Rhino and 2 Tacticals dies.

SM: Devs on right flank doubles and fires on Sentinels. 1BM.

TL: Warhound advances forward and fires on garrisoned scouts in the middle of the board. It takes 1BM from OW-fire. " scouts die.

SM: Vindicators on right flankj marches forward into forest near Quake-Reaver.

TL: Thunderbolts go on CAP.

SM: Tacticals in center doubles into forest near Quake-Reaver and fires on it. 1BM.

TL: Warhound advances to the centre and fires on tacticals in forest. 4 tacticals and 1 rhino dies and the formation break.

SM: Warhound on right flank doubles forward and fires on Sentinels. 1 dies and the formation breaks.

TL: Thunderbolts go on CAP:

SM: Tacticals in centre doubles forward and fires on the broken Sentinels. The formation is wiped out.

TL: WArhound advances and fires on tacticvals in center, 2 tacticals and 1 rhino dies.

SM: Predators doubles towards center and fires on Quake-Reaver, strips 3 shields.

TL: GB-Reaver doubles towards center and fires on predators, kils 2 and breaks the formation.

TL: Warhound doubles to the center and fires on scouts, 1 scout die.

SM: Devastators double forward on left flank.

SM: Warhound on left flank marches staright forward across the board.

SM: Thunderbolts ground attack Quake-Reaver, 1BM.

SM: MArauders ground atatck Quake-Reaver, they do 1 DC which is a critical!

END PHASE:

1 SM thunderbolt dies of GB-Reaver AA on its way out.
Broken devs rally.
Predators fail to rally.

TURN 2: AMTL wins initiative.

TL: Quake-Reaver sustains on tacticals and scouts in the middle of the board. 2 tacticals, 1 rhinmo and 1 razorback dies.

TL: GB-Reaver retains, advances and fires on Devs on the left flank. 1 Rhino and 1 Hunter dies.

SM: Warhound on the right flank advances next to Quake-Reaver and destroys it with it's mighty guns!

SM: Vindicators retain and engages Warhound in front of forest and destroys it.

TL: Warhound sustains on BTS-Tacticals and kills the Supreme commander!

SM: Devs on left flank advances forward and fires on Warhoun. They strip it's shields, does 2 DC damage and breaks the titan.

TL: Warhound engages scouts and wipes them out.

SM: Thunderbolts stand down.

TL: Thunderbolts stand down.

SM: Marauders stand down.

TL: Thunderbolts ground attack broken tacticals by SM Blitz. 1 tactical stand and 1 rhino dies.

SM: Devs on right fllank doubles into central forest and fires on warhound. Strips both shields.

SM: Tacticals on right flank Marshalls and mnove stowards the centre.

SM: Warhound on left flank doubles and fires on broken Warhound by AMTL blitz, killing it.

END PHASE:

Predators rallies.

Tacticals by SM Blitz fail to rally.

TURN 3: SM wins initiative.

SM: Devs by central forest sustains on Warhound. Strips 1 shield and does 2DC. Breaking it.

SM: Devastators tries to retain, holds, and fires on broken warhound on left flank.

TL: WArhound doubles to SM blitz and fires on tacticals wiping them out. The BTS and Blitz objectives are claimed.

SM: Predators hold and Marshalls.

TL: GB-Reaver advances and fires on devs on the left flank. 2 devs dies and the formation breaks.

SM: Thunderbolt ground attack Warhound by SM Blitz. 1 BM.

TL: Thunderbolts hold (Noooo!)

SM: Marauders ground attack Warhound by SM Blitz, strips both shields and breaks it. The Blitz objective is no longer claimed by the AMTL.

TL: Thunderbolts ground attack Warhound by objective on left flank. Strips 1 shield.

SM: Warhound holds and regroups.

SM: Vindicators advance to AMTL-Blitz.

SM: WArhound advances and fires on broken AMTL warhound on left flank, kills it.

End Phase:

Warhound fails to rally for the AMTL.

SM wins by 3 (BTS, Blitz, T&H) - 1 (BTS).

Sorry for the somewhat confusing report. This was a while ago and i forgot some of it. Had a good start then my titans decided to die like flies.

GB seems fine, didn't do to much damage as usual. Quake+CLP works good. Nothing really to add...

hehe cool. Thanks for posting!

God machines is meant to promote taking warhound packs and to help out armies that would otherwise struggle with taking on the larger titans at least have some way of potentially breaking them or forcing a marshall action.
