The other thing possibly worth mentioning is there are no "broken" lists in epic. I remember from 40k where everyone had an iron warriors army with 9 obliterators and a basilisk, then it was the ork nobz biker list where they all had different weapons to abuse the wound allocation rules. In epic you could field nothing but shadow swords, but it would be pretty rubbish against anything that wasn't dc heavy. In 40k an army of shadow swords would be horrible

It was seeing this article on Andy Chamber's FB page and then by chance seeing an EA40k tourney at the Sanctuary (the first one earlier in the year) that got me re-interested in the little men after a long hiatus.

So it's worked at least once!
