Question: Are Squat gyrocopters the right size to proxy as Valkyries?

I would say yes as well, but perhaps we would get a better estimate if we could compare the two models, once the Valkyrie is released

Has anybody actually been daft enough to create , an actual SQUAT armylist for E:A yet?

Yes: I have.  To elaborate a little: I actually didn't design the armylist, I just ported the Net Epic armylist to E:A a while ago. The only thing I've done is the porting and some special rules. I just received some comments a few days ago and have updated the list.

"Hybrid" SM1, SM2 + E40K (in CJ 20) ... as I said we take what we like from each system and meld them to our liking !  As far as our Squat TO&Es (Army Lists) ... mostly SM1.

I have found a Squat list on one of the Yahoo Groups that I am using for my squats. I thought that Jervis said he was planning on making a fun "non-tournament" list for people with the models.
