Hi all. I have just moved to prestatyn in north wales and am looking to get back into wargaming. Havent played a game for years but would love to give it a try again.

I have several epic armies and was just wondering if anyone knows of a decent club or any players in this area? Also any useful Epic websites. The last time i took a real interest was when epic armageddon came out several years ago, so im not very up to date at the moment.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shame you weren't around a couple of years ago when I was living in Bangor, as I would have given you some games. I'm the opposite side of the world these days.

Otherwise find a club and talk some of the players into giving the game a try and providing both armies. It's possible to play epic online these day too if you wanted to get some games in that way.

i'm down in cardiff, which is still miles away but at least is the right country.

Hard for it to be much further from Prestatyn whilst still being in the same country of course You'd be better off finding out about the manchester/stockport crowd, which in the grand scheme of things isn't all that far. Hell, even Nottingham would be quicker to get to than large parts of Wales I think there are one or two members from other parts of the North West too, like Southport.

Thanks for all the replies guys. cardifs a bit far. maybe we could meet halfway and setup a table in a layby? Might try manchester sometime. would definatley be interestyed in playing online. Saw something about that on the forum but havent had time to read it yet.
