I was just wondering if any one ever actually uses them, or are they in the list purely for the fluff.
I ask as I have never seen anyone mention them on here, and I don't recall ever seeing any painted up in the painting logs.
I'd thought that with chaos marines now OOP, that zombies would be a good way of of providing extra units with out the need to pay outrageous prices, until a decent proxies becomes cheaply available. (Zombies being easily proxied, with the left over from my baccus historical's and with Exodus wars own zombies.)

They are mostly to get in the way, I plan on using warmaster nurgling swarms in my death guard army

They're the first unit I take in my Death Guard, every list.

I always take two formations when using LaTD. The randomness is very chaotic and fearless teleporters are very useful.
I don't model mine as zombies, I have one formation of Warmaster Nurglings and the other as Slaanesh spawn using hundreds of tyranid gland accessory pieces that look like little creatures with giant eyes.
