I take the Zzap guns on all of them. The difference in the barrages are not that great and I prefer the variety.
Supastompa is a very good value, imho.
On the stompas, I usually take the big gunz, but it depends on how you intend to use them. I prefer them as a fire support formation but some people will load up on dreads and go hunt big stuff, in which case the guns are just there for pot shots until they can assault.
I think stompas are a bit overpriced, but I will take them in order to field a supastompa because I think they are cheaper than they should be.
Mega-Gargant: Nah. Be advised the stat line for the imperator is a typo (cut and pasted from the warhound above it). It should be:
Mv: 15cm Armor: 4+ CC/FF: 3+
Big difference, that. I'd say the mega gargant comes in at about 1300 points and the imperator at around 2000, as a rough guess.

Thanks, primarch. Nice to see a big brain taking the time to greet a newbie.

Hmm, but you don't have to get into an assualt with it do you?(I cannot believe that I, an ork player, typed that) Can't you just stand off, deplete its sheilds, before hitting it with a Lifta-droppa on krooz missile sandwich?
This is hypothetical of course, both titans are as about as rare as a good episode of enterprise these days.

Well getting through 8 void shields and still having formations left that haven't fired yet can be quite a challenge by itself. Never mind how hard it is to knock off 18DC with 4+ reinforced armour. Plus the fact the Imperial player will probably regenerate half or more of those sheilds each turn.

Great gargant vs Warlord is a closer match IMO (hence why they have the same points cost).
The warlord has the advantage of void shields (which can regenerate) and thick rear armour.
The great gargant has the advantage of having more damage capacity and more shields.
The warlord titans firepower is probably a bit better, but the great gargant is better in assaults (more CC\FF attacks due to higher DC, and the option of a close combat weapon).
The great gargants high DC also makes it harder to break\surpess and lets it engage more units in CC and barge more units when charging.

They've taken all the fun out of the lifta-droppa... It used to be so much more.... entertaining... (Pick up Land Raider, drop on dreadnought!)

What Crimson said about the Imperator.
I think the GG and Warlord are well-balanced.
The GG is about the same in armament and toughness (because ork power fields don't regenerate), a bit better in assaults, but not as good at command and control (3+ initiative).

Okay here's another dumbass question.
if ?a megachoppa's titan killer abilities only apply to the extra attack, (assuming I'm reading the rules right) is there any real reason to include one if they are not sure of getting into combat?
A regular gargant kicks out with a solid eight attacks at 3+ in assualt. Taking a mega choppa relies on getting into base contact and reduces your firepower slightly. Mounting a huge chainsaw on a gargant is undeniably cool, but is it a good trade off for firepower?
At least a lifta-droppa doesn't have this problem.
