Cheers GDB, I think having the ziggurats in FUD would still be a good idea, thanks.

You wouldn't get anything extra out of his models from FUD that you would out of FD, IMO...

FD would suffice. Better painting surface, so if that would be added I would order

I think a big difference is that while E&C and others use CAD to design the models, the prints are then used to create moulds and the models are subsequently spun-cast, so the prints themselves can be super high detail as you only need a few sets

The GDB idea is to use the prints directly which I quite like, there are advantages to this method, especially that models can be a single piece and therefore don't need separate bits.....nothing more frustrating than gluing tiny arms on to 6mm models!!

I'd certainly be interested in seeing more spaceships, and will hopefully be picking up some drop pods soon :)

Strong White and flexile has that slightly sandstone texture yes?

I could see that working well for technopyramids.

Might work, but my "vision" of the technopyramids is that their surface is made out of some sort of panels, not stone surface. But as you said, might work!

Hmm good point, though would still be nice to have it available in in FD I think.

The Fellclaws look really nice, more detailed than a lot of the other models available I think. But I am not sure if I should spring for Frosted Detail on these. Does anyone have any painted pics or anything for comparison?

In terms of what I would like to see, I would love to see the various Space Marine flyers, whatever they are called. The small ones (all I can think of is Thunderpigeon but that is probably not it's real name). And maybe some of the various Chaos vehicles that never got models - the new deamon engines for example.

Would be nice if the monoliths were available in 6 pack, same as the obelisks.

Hi, I just came across this thread. This is a great way to make decent gaming models available fast and affordable!

I did a limited test a while ago and concluded that for painted models the loss of detail from WSF-Polished was more acceptable than the sandstone texture of WSF. I didn't print more than these 2 drop pods, but take a look at them zoomed in: both printed from the same file, the one on the left is polished.

Well we now have Eldar tanks, dredclaws, and TBolts/Marauder airpower. Have to say one thing, he's nothing but prolific! :)

Would be a very happy gamer if WSF-Polished gets added across the board ^_^

Yeah I've never understood limitations on higher detailed materials when posting models.
