Is there anything you don't own? ;D

Thanks for the info, Primarch. I had a feeling you would know what it is.

Hi!

Yes, there is something I don't own, although I have coaxed the owner, he isn't biting. WMN owns the chaos titans, including the abominatus Imperator class titan. I await the day he decides to sell those..... ;D

But he has so far resisted the charm of the primarch.... ;)

I can make them though, although I'm putting off on making conversions until I decide on a 3d printer and scanner, then I'll make the bits myself to make conversions.

I have bought a lot of "unique" stuff WMN has put up for sale. Nowadays, that's all I am really looking out for. After you have multiples of the Capitiol Imperialis, Hellbores, Psi-titans, warmongers, original metal dropship, eldar exodites and original metal beetleback weapons, what else is there? ;D

On a side note I am poised to do an actual inventory after over a decade since the last one. Perhaps I will finally be able to answer the question accurately, "how much stuff do I really have". :)

Of course I will take pictures. I think the newer forums members will get a kick out of actual "primarchload" pictures. :D

Been through the White Dwarfs 109- 143. Nothing remotely like the siege titan..
Will continue.
Out of interest I love these conversions for 40K out of WD 125. Fantastic walkers.

Thinking about some older GW issues, and the full article in building those walkers is one of the memories that sticks out to me, along with the Eldar background in 127 that blew my mind. Very cool.

Ah yes ... the Golden Age of Epic ... :D No joy in Codex Titanicus ... just looked thru there. The closer you get to SM2 in the WD issues ... you may have gone too far. Of course we're talking G/W here ... "Madness may not have a pattern, but it does have a goal ..." CDR Spock, S.O., USS Enterprise

Hi!

Lylekelm, do you have issue 108 on hand? That's the first with AT stuff when it released, although I remember pictures of epic stuff in issues before its debut in issue 108 (ads for the upcoming release, if I recall correctly).

I gotta say since I saw this thread I can't stop thinking about this and try to remember where they could be found. It's driving me nuts! :{[]

Thanks for looking through the issues lylekelm, mine require a lot of work to dig out now (in big storage boxes that are heavy), so I'm not going in to get them until I'm ready to do m y inventory.

Ya know, I think its high time we get pictures of all these odd things and put them up on some kind of reference site. I'm willing to be L4 and me can get most of the pics needed. ;D

Perhaps I should finally get off my butt and make that Epic site I have always reminisced about.....

Hi P,
Nothing in WD 108 except lots of MK0 warlords. My unrealised dream was to own one. Sigh.
I will go thru the WDs up to the release of Titan Legions on the off chance the siege titan is pictured.
This has been a walk down memory lane.
I remember, at the time, trying to get a particular stompa from WD 130.
The one on the left was readily available but the one next to it on the right was elusive.
I rang Mail order UK but failed miserably.
I have never seen one of this version.

Hi!

Those MK0 metal warlords (even the base is metal!) were put up for auction. I believe that is how WMN got his (I bought mine from him).

I'm beginning to suspect the pictures are not in WD. I've been wracking my brain to come up with where they may have appeared, but I'm betting on something pretty obscure like a chance photo on a GW ad, or non-epic related book.

Weren't there "eavy metal" books sold with just pictures back in the day?

Have you looked for art? I remember one of a unique looking titan, with a more forward facing carapace, though regular weapons not siege ones. I really liked it and had it cut out and stuck to my wall at one point. I have a feeling said art showed up in the Space Marine/Titan Legions era, possibly on a box or on one of those A4 pages for tiitan hit locations.

I've seen both of those Stompas on eBay so leave a favourite search that'll email on there if you're after one. I own one myself, though in storage the other side of the world.
