That pose makes it look as if it has tiny arms. Don't find it very eldar-y either.

What is it with both of those models and their weird looking chests? At first glance I thought it was cool to see an Eldar Knight, but yeah having looked closer it does look pretty bad.

The new Eldar flyer is laughable too (especially compared to the beautifull FW designs), it looks like a backwards bat symbol and like a Dark Eldar flyer not a craftworld one - see on the bottom right of this picture here.

I put the wrong link above, the thread I found it was here.

As I've said over at 40K Online, I don't like it. I think that it looks too much like a Tau Battlesuit, with a few Eldar bits bolted on at the back. I don't really understand why they felt the need to introduce it into 40K either, apart from GW wanting more money of course.

Looks rubbish - and at $115US I'm laughing (and wincing) at how much us Aussies are going to get bent over once you add GW's Australia tax...

What's with their designs over the past 2-3 years... Rubbish and none of them long lasting endearing classics... Bubblegum designs through and through...

I was going to say I quite liked the Eldar Knight, but after seeing those other pics it really does look like all the proportions are off.

Totally called them designing a new smaller and uglier fighter; the existing forgeworld fighters (for all races) are too big to use in a standard 6" by 4" 40K table and they reeeealy wanna sell you fighters.

Interesting that the fighter’s general shape looks like it’s based on the metal Epic figure.

Love the new wraithguard though. What they should have been.

Ohh Yah, the Wraithguard looking good is a large part of the reason the Knight doesn't; all it's constituent parts look out of proportion to one another and it's just big enough to be unable to hide the hella stiff posing.

I actually quite like the background describing the pilot as a pair of twins, one alive one dead, definitely fits into the current established background nicely.

Having now seen the pic of it alongside the wraithlord, the last pic before the text in Glyn's link, that model is truely enormous!

I already have a sizeable eldar army, if I ever shift some of my 28mm stuff I'll likely pick up one with some of the new wraithguard. I could only stomach ever stomach buying 10 of the originals, here's hoping the rules make them worth taking for once.
