So part of my *cough cough* panic buys these days I got me some FW Thunderhawk Transporters and Orc Blasta Bommerz.

Now the only question remains: What to use them for and where are the rules?

Do people use the Thunderhawk Transporters as Space Marine landing crafts? Or?

And what about the Blasta bommerz?

Scions of Iron and Black Templar lists both make heavy use of the THawk Transporter. In addition, if I had someone using a list without them (or running a force that didnt take transporters) and wanted to use them as THawk Gunships I'd say go ahead.

I think using them as Landing Craft is common enough, as is using Ork Bombas as Landas.

Where are the rules for the Bommers? I mean, I assume some rules do exist?

I'd use them in that case as TBird Gunship Proxy or as Landing Craft

Some Ork variant lists in the NetEA Army List Compendium use the Bommer:

7.4 BLOOD AXE KOMMANDANT UG SKRAGGA MORKRUMPS’S KORPS ORK ARMY
7.6 ALBORK ORKSTEIN’S GARGANT BIGMOB ORK ARMY
7.7 GOBGUTZ BADFANG'S STOMPY ONSLAUGHT ORK ARMY
7.10 KOLONEL SANDORK'S BLOOD AXE CLAN ORK ARMY

Stats:
AC/WE Bomber 6+Save DC3, Transport 6 Stormboyz. Weapons: Bommer Turrets 15cm, D6xAP5+/AT6+/AA6+; Bomms 15cm, D3+1 BP, FxF Arc

Thanks!

Do the separate bombs fit the models?

I got a Rhino transporter to use as a landing craft. While using GW THs I think the size difference seems ok.

Now that all my Epic has arrived I can safely say that there practically is no size difference between the transporter and the landing craft. The transporter is just as long. :o
