Started looking at your website and found the information pretty interesting. One question I had though is why use such small bases for the individual figures. It would seem that you would have more wear and tear on the painted figures because you're constantly grabbing the figures rather than the bases. Also I've always considered 40K figures to be out of scale with the ground scale, so using 6 mm figures on 20 mm round bases made the units and distances look more realistic.

Some of my epic figures with this basing scheme can seen be seen in the following blog post.

http://daleswargames.blogspot.com/2012/ ... eport.html
http://daleswargames.blogspot.com/2012/ ... -some.html

Admittedly, I cannot use figures based this way in both skirmish games (such as Pocket 40K) and Epic Armageddon, but I don't see that as much of a concern. I can either paint duplicate forces for the two basing schemes or forego EA altogether.

Keep up the good work,

Dale

You can use this figures to play Epic with the coins method:

The base for pocket are the default bases of the 6mm miniatures. If u have more question, visit all the website, all the system is explained very well in this sections:

now the NEWS! Pocket Sunday once again, and once again a tutorial. This one is pretty hard for Dark Eldar players, and speaks for itself:

We have piled up quite a lot of 6mm miniatures so far, and it's time for a new gallery section. Black Templars are the topic of this week, as well as the soldiers in first outdoor battle:

Not much time for a tutorial this week, but we've managed to stage a few nice pictures of the new Ork bikes and heavy units.
Enjoy!

We had a break in the production of nice miniatures for our Gallery, and spent some time in a very simple and fundamental tutorial for Necron players.
It's not much, but it's essentially because we're working on a few side projects for Pocket that will, hopefully, come out before Christmas.
Anyway, this tutorial explains how to make a Destroyer Lord out of a 6mm miniature.

Have a look ;-)

Five brand new pictures are on internet, in the Eldar section of the Gallery.
Enjoy!

I also inform you that during this week we're planning some major changes to the website, and old links may stop working. The link to the hompage will remain the same anyway.

Big news this week!
The whole Pocket Warhammer website has been redesigned to fit better with the increasing amount of material. You can find all the relevant news, and a log of all the changes at the bottom of the home page.

https://sites.google.com/site/pocketw40k/home

In addition to this big deal of changes, we also decided to publish probably the most amazing tutorial so far! Check out the building process of a 6mm Stormraven.

https://sites.google.com/site/pocketw40k/home/conversions/stormraven

Enjoy!!!!

Really love this idea and the tutorials are great. Have you thought about creating templates (storm raven comes to mind) and allowing them to be downloaded?

On the news for this week. This time we have decided to embark on a bit of shameless propaganda, and to answer to the most common questions as well with our first video on Pocket! Have a look and spread the word!

Enjoy :D

We're happy to see this kind of reaction to our works. Thank you! :D If you decide to make your own 6mm wh army you can send us some pictures of it, if you like ; the pictures are going to be added in the "gamer's gallery".
Also, if you have any suggestions feel free to contact us to our email (you find it in the webpage). Pocket is perfect also for Epic, with the metallic coins as bases.
Thank you again for your enthusiasm! :D
