Hello,
Our playgroup has had some trouble reaching consensus on what would be good rules on playing large and very large games of Epic A. I am certain people here have tried it, so any advice would be welcome.
What rules to add when playing above 5k games, and above 10k games?
Do certain races need rebalancing abilities?
I have read the megageddon rules, and they look really fun, but thats more for a multi-player experience. Perhaps something could be worked out of them, but I am looking for alternatives.
Cheers for any help!

Our gaming group (four people) recently played a fairly large game. Each player worked out an army of 5000 points and we then played with two allied teams. We used standard rules apart from one important change (as recommended in the rulebook) - both players on the same side workd through their turn simultaneously and then play passed to the other side. This meant that there were usually four activations per side.
We found this worked very well and meant that play moved along nicely.

My gaming group plays big (24k+) games of epic fairly regularly. Honestly we find the basic rules to work quite well even up to that point but we do tend to make a couple of activations at the same time, and also to rework the objectives - more of them!

You can try the "Megaggedon" scenario (in French). it allows to play BIG multiplayers games.
