Played this today.
Although the opponent conceded after his Assault Terminators failed in their assault, there were some areas of the list that really worried me.
Firstly the opponent's list;

If it was not the fact that I won the initiative vs the Marines (a daunting task at best), the game would have continued to be a shooting gallery where the Genestealer Cult simply could not compete, let alone move forward. Winning the initiative allowed me to risk 2 actions both at a 3+ roll to charge and luckily win 2 combats (Lictors vs Vindicators and Brood Brothers vs Vindicators) to kill off the Marine activation count for the coming turns. We worked out the the Genestealer Cult at this time
may have won on turn 3 (T&H + Blitz) or attained a draw - all dependant on whether activation rolls were made.
