Thanks! Ok, now that I'm rested I can make a bit more comment on these. They stand a little over 3.5" tall to the top of the missile launcher. Of course, height somewhat varies based on pose. Bend the legs more and you'll end up with a shorter model.
Things I like: This is a really nice kit, lots of room for posing and variety. Very nice detail level and cleans up pretty quickly. Lightyears above the Warhound kit. Which leads me to the not so much category.
Things I don't like: What's up with the head and carapace!?! There is some rather blatant and obvious loss of detail on the sides of the carapace which shows in the "bent" polys" like there wasn't enough smoothing applied to the model right there. It's fixable but still seems like it should have been caught. The same goes for the top half of the head. There's some ridging happening rather than forming a smooth shape. The last bit kit wise I'm a bit meh about are the TLD. I realize they are still the Warhound ones, but it seems there are still casting issues with these. I think I've maybe seen two in 8 that don't have air bubbles destroying the detail on the tips of the barrels or problems with the vanes around the barrels and a couple with some rather gaping air bubble holes on the back. Most of these are fixable but I'm curious if the mold might need some work

Painting. These were the first I've done with this model and I usually like to do one up first to sort of learn what needs to go where and how. In retrospect, although cannon, the striped shoulders weren't the best idea. Too distracting. I'm also not entirely happy with the contrast. I really should have used a heavier wash to build up from or just don't a custom mix and ignored the wash entirely in favor of some glazes later. I'm also not happy with the insets for the toes. While it made sense to assemble this entirely before painting, it made it practically impossible to ensure that there wasn't any white or bare resin visible. I'm also kicking myself for not putting lenses over the eyes. There is some nice detail hidden inside the eyes on the head but almost immediately after painting it became obvious it was recessed too far to see and wasn't even entirely practical to get the black undercoat in place. I'm also not happy with the knee joints. There's a lot of nice detail in there but do in the primary assembly for the legs prior to painting meant that I could only really paint the detail on the outside of the knees so I ended up leaving it as is.
Overall though the model is so large and detailed that even these issues really don't show up when you look at the them as a whole. I am pretty happy with the knee heraldry and how the gold came out even though that was a bit touch and go for a while. I'm also fairly happy with the base and pose. At least the pose on Reaver 02. The second one the supporing left left ended up too straight which looks a bit funny and loses some of the feeling of weight the first reaver has.
I do have plans for the third one, although to do it properly it will take a considerable amount of time and may end up being done a piece here and there until it's ready for final detail.
