Ok, Thanks for the pics, but I am a little confused as to how you are playing this - are you actually using a number of smaller boards that together make up the monster 18'X12' table? Is so, could you present a schematic of how the boards are placed, and preferably some rough diagrams to show where the various forces are on the boards.

The very first pic is the board. It is a 12' x 16' length of green outdoor carpet. We make some sort of new terrain addition for each game (we added the central hive city and river this last game. We keep shoes on and try to keep model crushing to a minimum, but inevitably there are casualties every game.
