I dont know myself, but in my January Ed of WD, they say that there's a battle report between Marines and Orks in the February Edition. They also announce its release for then too.
Maybe that's the reason for taking it down. It will all be in the February WD.

Actually, it hasn't ever gone, the link to it however has. So, as always, blame GW for this small problem...
Cheers

Hi!
GW changes all sorts of things on its website from time to time and without notice.
I dont think anything should be read into it.

Hi all, take a look at the pic of the day on the Special Games website - sentinels on display. They look ok, but the pic is a bit too small. The crew compartment sems to be closed a la Steel Legion. Those bases look wobbly! Cheers.

Those Sentinals look just like the E40K version, but with the armored crew compartment ... however, remember G/W said most E:A models will be "reworked" E40K. So here's another example. I like it ...

I wasn't going to post this, however there are some
note that you can edit the URLs of the picture of the day, there are nine pictures in week 7 (though they are mostly Warmaster and Mordheim)
I won't post the relevant links here (and no one else please) as GW has a strict policy on deep-linking to pictures
Policy http://uk.games-workshop.com/legal/cando.htm#examples We do not tolerate deep linking to the pictures, images, PDFs or other downloads on our website. Such activity is bandwidth theft. Also, do not mirror the resources that we have on our websites. So, if you want other people to see the materials that we have produced please use a simple html link to the relevant web page.

Tom, here's what you do.
1) Go onto the Fanatic page 2) Right Click on the Pic of the day 3) Click Properties 4) Copy the address of the source of the image 5) Paste into browser or search engine (Google is good for this) 6) Edit as required (eg change a 2 to a 3) 7) Enjoy the preview of the pic!
Cheers
Chris

Yes, I saw it too.
I think it is for W/M, but as I said before, I use some W/M stuff (Harpies, terrain bitz, etc.) for Epic.
And we use the old Chaos Familiars for our Greater Daemons, they are closer to scale than the old SM-2 40K size figures. ?
I always check out the W/M stuff... you never know what you may find!
