Hey, guys. Long time no type. Just thought I'd drop you a note that I finally strong-armed the other hosts at the D6 Generation to let me do a complete review of Epic: Armageddon, with copious plugs for your awesome network thrown in for good measure.

I'm sure there are some grey areas, such as GW's hard copy version versus 2008 Handbook vs FAQs vs Errata etc., but most of the information is there for listeners to pick up on.

Hopefully we'll see a bump, both locally and globally, in Epic interest.

I just hope it doesn't make scoring things on eBay even harder . . .

Anyway, check it out if you're interested:

The Epic Review starts at hour 2:38, for those of you without the stomach for 'not so horrible humor' :)

Thanks, guys!

~Craig

Thanks again Craig for promoting Epic on the show.

An eBay market inflation would be a small price to pay for an increased player base. :P

G'day Craig.

GREAT stuff mate. It's fantastic to see Epic being broadcast like this. I listened to the review yesterday. You did a very good job explaining the concepts. It's possible that we'll be doing something similar down the track on World's End Radio (I've got JJ into playing Epic). MUCH inspiration from you guys.
Keep up the excellent work.

Cheers,
Steve.

Hi guys,

Just listened to the review on D6. I have not been to this website before. Struggling to find the updated version of epic Armageddon to download on this site?

Andy

The most up-to-date official rules are on GW's site:

The Epic Handbook 2008 that Craig mentioned is here:

See your other post for background on that.

Finally, the NetEA army lists are in the various compendiums on this forum:

viewforum.php?f=69

With regards to those, there's official lists in there with slight balancing tweaks, fan lists and various experimental lists in various stages of development.

My friend who listens to D6Gen religiously says the review was pretty good. My friend doesnt care for Epic, and the person on the show who doesnt play it expressed some concerns that my friend echoes as his reasons for the dislike. If my friend says the review was fair after all that, then I'd say it must have been pretty good!

To further clarify: you can't hold an objective (or contest it) in the turn you rally from being broken. Rallying to remove BMs is fine.

I thought it was great, my best comment being the 'gw beetle'.

You may want to look at the fan supplements such as Epic Raiders.
