Is it just me or are there also no baneblades when you do a 'SG-EPC' search? This makes me a sad panda!

I bet if you spoke to a different guy he would tell you a different story - I've been told vastly differing stories within an hour of each other by different MO guys.

Given GW's opinion of specialist games anything being still available is a miracle. Player base is not big enough to be worth GW/FW efforts when many kits for 40K can still be made. Never mind that the player base size is a direct result of GWs management of the specialist lines. Plus since many FW things are priced cheaper than the GW verison another reason not to support there production. 3 Shadowswords for 30 dollars FW or 60 dollars GW.

Hmm. Just phoned forgeworld and spoke to one of the guys as I was attempting to order a few of the things listed when you do a SG-EPC search. Was told that:

Grey Knight terminators are discontinued
Warhounds were discontinued
Gargantuan squiggoth discontinued

Basically anything without a picture he says is not available. What gives? Is this correct or do they not know?

The Warhounds 1 are still listed as in stock so I would order them online probably soon. Someone told me he just got 4 sets recently and I myself ordered the online one about 3 months ago now without any problem (except for volcano related slow delivery).

If they have run out then they will just have to refund your money. The other ones are currently listed as either some huge price or out of stock.

It's a shame about the squiggoth as I just bought another one recently to add to my 2 ones from before.... shame.

I recieved a pack of warhounds+a squiggoth from FW on wednesday so I'd say they are currently available - providing you speak to the right MO guy.

Does not sound like FW doing a great job communicating to customers or its sales force about the status here. Something is either in stock, back ordered, or not currently in production. Does not seem like it would be to hard to make a list that status for all items for the order takings to look to.

Hmmm, interesting. I ordered some stuff over the phone a couple of weeks ago which arrived yesterday. Included in this were two packs of Warhounds. At the time of ordering I was told that the only Warhounds available had a Vulcan Mega Bolter arm and a Turbo Laser Destructor arm which I thought was weird (as from memory that was not ever an option) and when I questioned it the guy confirmed that was what is available. So yesterday when they rocked up on my doorstep, they all had Vulcan Mega Bolter arms and Plasma Blastgun arms

It doesn't mention on the site whether both types of Warhounds are available or just Warhound 1 (Vulcan and Plasma). I'm wondering whether I should ring and find out if Warhound 2 is now available.....if they are back into producing Warhound 1, I don't see why they wouldn't be producing Warhound 2......is Warhound 2 as popular as Warhound 1, does it move more or less stock ? Personally I don't have any Warhound 2's but wouldn't mind picking a pair up....

Only Warhounds 1 are in the official Epic Armageddon rules. I think the person you were talking to just did not know the difference between a turbolaser and plasma blastgun.

I'd suggest Warhound 2 has far fewer sales then 1, which may explain why it's the only one available if that is indeed the case.

Warhounds are back!

I made an order last week, got it today. I was stunned by the quality of the cast, so I thought that had to be new ones, not leftovers from the old batch.
Also they are made of plastic, not resin anymore (I like! ).

My guess was confirmed, because I just browsed FWs' online store and found 'em properly listed in the "Epic: Titans" section!
