50+ stands of Orks (Probably even more than that)
8 stands of commandos
5 stands of storm boys
18 stands of gretchin
15 stands of nobs
10 scorchas
12 buggies (also maybe 10 of the old plastic buggies that are smaller than bikes... I might use them as bikes)
15 big guns
6 wartrucks
4 flakwagons (could easily convert more)
6 mekboy speedstas
3 wyrdboy towers
maybe 5 stands of bikes (some boars too)
20+ gun wagons (I could probably convert up another 30+ from all the old bits)
6 stompas
12 Dreads
2 gun fortresses
1 great gargant
12 fightas (I need to find 9 of them as I set them aside for AI)
There are a ton of good formations to make with this:
Warband + 4 battlewagons (wartruks) + flakwagon - 375
Big Warband - 350
Warband + 2 Stompas + 2 Dreads - 420
Warband + 2 Gunfortresses - 450
Big Kult of Speed (all Skorchas and fill in with Buggies) - 350
Zzap Brigades - 1 wagon w/ Oddboy (Mekboy vehicles), 2 flakwagons, 1 Gunwagon - 200 each, take several
Stompa Mob + 4 dreads (or more) - 365
Uge Gunzmob + 3 Nobz + 3 Oddboyz - 580
Great Gargant
I'd split the Fightabommas 9/3. The formation of 9 can brave nearly any flak and still put a lot of firepower on stuff. The formation of 3 can pick off targets of opportunity or be used to intercept enemy air.
That's pushing 5K of useful formations and the only thing you'd need to convert would be flakwagons. For explanations of how the formations work, check out the "Ork General Strategy" thread. Most of the formations up at the top are hitting a midground between being so large that their cost gets to be a problem and being large enough to be very durable. You might end up wanting to pare down some of the larger formations up a bit to boost activations and provide a little more flexibility, especially if you're playing down around 2500-3000 points.
