Saw this on the WGF thread about our wayward Andriods.  I think it's called passing the buck ...  ÂÂ

I've had very little to do with the Android issue  (because I know nothing of 6mm Sci Fi) but I know it's been a source of concern and consternation.
As you'll know, we are a very, very small company with limited resources in - well, everything. There are five of us, mostly working part-time. We essentially have to sell a huge amount of any given new product to be able to fund the next thing along.
We've been pleasantly overwhelmed with the success of  Liberty and Union,  a great idea which has brought us a huge amount of interest. The flipside to that is that we have a lot of things that reach 100% of our limited 1000 sprue goal faster than we can get things done. And the variety, in scales and genres, is bewildering (even if nobody ever orders 1/700 Napoleonic ships masts)
We have to assess whether something will really sell beyond a limited audience, because the L&U thousand sprues isn't enough, alone, even to pay for mould production. We can't afford to take a real bath on anything we do.
We also have the core WF theme projects to pursue. As you'll have noticed, we came into this with the object of making some of the historical ranges we really like (and which have a big market - ancients wargamers buy hundreds of each model!).
So we have lots of projects that we'd like to do, and have made progress with. Some of the moves we have made have been successful, and others have come up against a brick wall. And, since we aren't a big, established company, we can't afford to make a serious, multi-thousand dollar mistake on this stuff!
I am sure Tony (on whom all responsibility ultimately lies) will be letting you know more
