Well, you're not the first person to bring that up, and for a long time I couldn't think of a satisfactory name. While a hammer may be to brutish to by 'eldary' I justify it by referring to the smith god Vaul and his hammer.
To be honest, I'd like the name to have something to do with the type of weapon the tank mounts, like is done with the Fire Prism and the Night Spinner. I'm not saying my name does this (I know that it doesn't) but I haven't been able to come up with any names that are synonyms of earthquake that don't sound silly (or uneldary) or aren't already used. Ditto with names referring to harsh sounds or bad weather (SMs pretty much own bad weather names at this point).
"Rending" kind of works, but only in the sense that the weapon shreds things (with sound!). The fact that it is 2 syllables is also a plus. I like hammer as the second word, because even though smashing things isn't very eldaresque, that's exactly what this tank does (at least that's my understanding of how a vibrocannon works). And hey, they have the smith god that they're always prattling on about, and how he got shafted by that other god, blah blah blah.
Based on the other vehicles in the list, the name can either be one word, two words, or a compound word. One word names tend to be animals, but only a real one (the IG have lock on all of the mythical ones), and not a fish (that's Tau).
WIth two-word or compound word names, the first word is usually a descriptor, like 'wave' or 'fire' or 'night' or 'fire.' The second word can be anything (really, anything). The word can be a weapon, but not an uneldary weapon, and probably not anything as prosaic as 'sword' or 'dagger.' Mace is right out. Or, you could go with some random word that really wouldn't make sense if it weren't for the fact that eldar are so damn enigmatic. Like prism. I mean, is that supposed to strike fear into enemies? "Oh no! They'll separate white light into the visible spectrum! I'm an autumn, this won't be pretty!" See also 'spinner.'
Maybe it could be Rending Drum. Doom Caller is also good. Maybe Rending Doom. Too bad Vibrospear sounds so dirty.
After going through all of this, Rending Hammer didn't sound silly after the twentieth time I said it, so I went with that.
Rending Scythe might work though (as could rending spear, really, but it doesn't have that Ye Olde English 'e' at the end like Scythe does).
