Dark Eldar Warriors decide to soften up the BTS further by driving their Raiders up and fire on the IG in cover.  While there are casualties, the formation doesn't even come close to breaking.

In response the Elysians move their Stormtroopers and break the dark warriors.

Then the drop sentinels move in for further support.  Support for what, you say?  For the giant arena beast that might come climbing out of there on turn 2.

While the Razorwings are always a horrifying sight to see, the Elysians use their CAP'd Strike Fighters to take one out.

With the Razorwings out of the way, the Marauder Destroyers move in to attack the Haemonculi formation.   One Raider is blown away and two Grotesques with it.

Before turn 2, the Kashnarak tries to activate... and FAILS.  The Elysians hold the gate firm and the Ravager formation and Talos formation within the Webway remain trapped.  Of course they can come out if they want...

Turn two has the tormentor titan taking a hit and stripping the remaining shadowfields.

It's a dog-eat-dog world, and I've got my Milkbone underwear on.

The Elysians make a terrible mistake and 'sustain' with the Support Sentinels from behind the iceburg.  Unfortunately the Hellions are too close and the Haemonculi are too far.  They end up just scratching at the snow like the chicken legs they are.

BTW the Hellions were supplemented by Scourges (model deficiency).

The Dark Eldar are on the ropes.  With turn two waning and two formations still trapped within the Webway, the Talos come out of the Chaos-looking gate.  Ironically the Talos are supplemented by some Chaos-y looking Talos.

Even with the supporting fire, the assault is actually very close.  The Elysians win and the remaining Talos sit there unphased.  Of course it doesn't dawn on the Archon that he would want the Talos as far away from the gate so the Kashnarak doesn't eat them instead on turn 3.

During the rally phase the Talos are actually HOPING that they remain broken so they can get their additional move and put distance between the gate and their unit.  With a 5+ needed to rally it isn't too hard to stay broken.  The Dark Eldar are happy and the Elysians are being seasoned for the pre-turn-3 meal.

Before turn 3 begins, the Kashnarak come out and barges through the Drop Sentinels.  Oddly enough it only eats two Sentinels.  The supporting fire butchers the tortured creature and all is well.
