On ebay a pack of FW warhounds went for £87+postage! a pack of stormswords went for £44! I know thet are basically oop but that is ridiculous - especially if FW start selling them again.

Thing is unpainted, unassembled ones are only going to get rarer.  Couldn't justify that expense myself.  Annoying that I'll likely never be able to get a second set now.

My understanding was that any new FW stuff would be truescale anyway so this piece is permanently gone.

I've heard a rumour that if you call FW direct they may still have some Warhounds lying around.

I've had nothing but good support from them. They are even replacing three of the chimeras that were broken, so I have no doubts that the administratum buildings will turn up. If I need to I'll call and ask but every time I talk to them they've been quite supportive.

My order of Daemonhunters arrived last week with little issue.  They didn't have the Terminators, but the Gray Knights were in good condition as were the Dreads and Land Raiders.

What is considered unacceptably broken in terms of Chimeras - does the lasguns being snapped off the back count? Does it depend if the tiny end bit present in the bag or not? I have several like this and need to get around to ringing up about some other missing bits too one of these days.

I considered lasguns on the back that were snapped off at the tip to be unacceptable. The tiny bit at the top is almost impossible to put back on. If the lasgun was snapped off at the base where it joins the hull I was able to fix it up. Of the 18 chimeras, 9 were broken and I was able to repair 6. I told FW what the problem was and they agreed to replace them so I gather that means I wasn't being too picky.

Note that all these *tiny* imperfections causing complains is half the reason FW are withdrawing the Epic range.

That would be sad. It took me a long time to try Forgeworld, mostly because of all the Internet whining (and their prices of course). I have been nothing but pleased so far. They did a mix-up in one of my panic orders, but I am sure it will be sorted out.
