Ah, but Jimbo, FW are making a FULLY enclosed version, not just the one with the "partial" armour. The fully enclosed version I think will look like the new Epic:A one.

So you loose ?10! :D

Cheers

Chris

Thanks Chris for posting those, "You're a good Lad !"  :D   Well, I can see some good stuff there and I look forward buying them all !     The Basilisk, I think has a strong WWII look, but I see some of the US Paladin in there too.  Someone at G/W must be looking at Janes again. }:)  Thanks again, Chris !  :;):

No problem L4, I did it so people like you could look at 'em! I also did it so I could look at them!

Agreed, GW must have taken some inspiration from Janes or another Military source.

Cheers

Chris

Yes, much of G/W's Imperial stuff is strongly influenced by WWII and the movies !

Sure is! Inn the background for IG snipers in the E:A rulebook there's a story about some sniper which -at least to me- seems to be -ahem...- borrowed straight from that Stalingrad movie... "Enemy At the Gates" I think it was called... ...need more coffee; my memory is  failing me :-:

Cheers

The two cultural subsets are not mutually exclusive, leading to the conclusion that your statement is not logical  :O

Nice... the Ork stuff looks quality, especially the battlefortress.... and the IG tanks are reasonable too- the emplacments and warhound tho... yuck! ?:L ?..dreadful looking models. I'm sure the Warhound could be improved though.. I sense a conversion coming on when I get my hands on one... :;):

I too dislike the HW emplacements, I prefer them on long bases. I can't understand why they commisioned it, it means that whenever the HW squad wants to move, they have to pack up and re-set out a load of sand bags! Barmy!

The Warhound however is growing on me...although it still looks as if it is going to move like a cart horse with those hooves!

Cheers

Chris

Yeah I don't like the HW emplacment idea either.  I hope the new range has HW figures without all those sandbags.

Me too...

The new HW stands look great, for static modelling like dioramas or even an overwatch marker if you were insane :).

I really hope they make a "non-static" HW team.
