Skullric, and anybody else in the same situation- according to fw any backorders of now oop stuff will be fulfilled - which seems ridiculous, surely rather than doing a batch of 2 warhounds they could do a normal final run

It *IS* ridiculous... but you have to realize that the FW EPIC stuff is poured by some "outside source" guy in his basement... he actually does it *one at a time*!

Maybe someone needs to talk privately with this 'outsourced' guy . . . . .

Well ... a lot of speculation here ... and that is mostly good.  However, all things being equal, I'm guessing that in the long run, all the models for AI will be kept. And if Tony C's Titan Game comes about, we should (hopefully?) see some new Epic Terrain ?  Not to mention the Big Tony Titans ... :vD  And if someone wants to play Epic ... then they will have to buy G/W-S/G models + the AI models + Tony's Titans ... 8v)  And stuff from DRM, E/W, GZG, etc., etc. ...   I know, I know ... it's been said before, some guys just want the G/W-F/W Epic stuff ... But I want to date Victoria's Secret Models too ... But that ain't gonna happen either ... :sigh:

Thanks D. ... I'll keep that in mind ... :vD   Good thing is I've never been married !  :))  So that is in my favor ! :)   I've probably got a better chance with a Victoria's Secret model (1,000,000,000 to 1 )... then we do seeing F/W producing their whole Epic range again ...

Thanks Tom !  But I think I'll stay with buying 6mm Sci-fi models(other than F/W's !) ...  it's easier and much less expensive ... :vD

I don't think that the case anymore- if it ever was, all the resin kits are produced in Singapore.

Do you know who in Singapore does the casting?

For those who are interested, here is what TMP has to say on the subject, complete with the closest thing anyone has seen (that I know of) to an "official notice" by FW. It seems that they, at least, received an email on the subject.

TMP Notice

Edit: I see that some of you have found it already, but some may not have done so, and I know that someone - Groov3r? - was looking for something "official".

Yes I might have seen that news item :)

Latest post is interesting

To add insult to injury I received my order today for what should have amounted to an epic tau tank company.

It appears hammerheads with railguns were one of the items deleted from their catalog. It also appears that they felt no need to refund me the money for the stupid things either.

I guess I am off to war with the evil empire….

So Forgeworld have closed down their resin production line in the UK and outsourced everything to Singapore???

When did this happen?

Are you sure you're not thinking of the resins that are sold in GW stores, which are indeed cast in the far east (China IIRC)?
