So this 'peak' of 8000 in the morning would normally mean 3-4 days for them. two and half is pretty much I think. More then I expected.

BFG has the luck of the very popular Tau fleet.

So let's ask the real questions.

Anyone up for making 6mm Robotech minis?

Please...

Afterall, GW were not all that original.

Wow, the thing that stuns me is that they potentially have £8,000 pounds worth of stock sitting around for a game they have decided not to support!

Any word from peoples orders if they are shipping or awaiting supply?

I phoned through a tiny order to complete the formations that were only half ready. The guy checked stock levels live on the phone. The impression that I got was that there was no supply to 'await' and if it wasnt sitting in a bag on a shelf they wouldnt sell it. So, stuff should come through fairly fast.

Even if FW/GW put together a Titan game with truescale minis, they will have to do it without my funding. I may pick up a couple of truescale Titans as display pieces, but this consistant burning has left me more than a little fire-shy. Why get into a GW/FW game when other companies keep minis available for when I want them?

Not a happy player right now! Even some kind of warning would have been considerate.

Hmm, must be the way their supply process works then. I thought they cast everything in house.

That's a hell of a lot of stock sitting idle.

Hopefully skullric's post about honouring back orders will mean that as long as you've placed your order, you will get them.

Can anyone confirm?

My biggest concern would be about miscasts - how will Forge World respond if you receive a miscast titan or super-heavy? You could get replacements before, but will they do that again if it means having to actually make a new model? Refunds are all well and good, but at this point, most of us would rather have the actual item, even if we have to wait a bit longer for it.

I will bet that it won't even be a refund and will instead be company credit.

A friend of mine ordered what was apparently the last one of their cathedrals.  It came with some broken battlements.  He called and since they couldn't provide a replacement they gave him credit, not a refund.

For this sudden development I assume at least some of the moulds are on their way out or already gone.

What are the odds on some new Warhounds, if there's a Titan vs Titan game in the works then surely the Warhound will make an appearance.

I can't see most of the stuff coming back, only in a few years time a bunch of Titans will turn up. Odds are it will be new versions of the readily available SG Titans with no sign of something like a Hierophant.

All the 6mm casting is done out-of-house by one guy AFAIK.

Even more useless, since I have no interest in any of their non-Epic stuff.

Oh well, if it does happen, then I can always help E&C or Otterman acquire some reference materials.

Just dropped an order for shy of £200 to complete my mech guard, some vehicles for my Orkses and some other stuff. Let's just hope they keep their pledge.

Anyone got 3-d plans lying around for a martian 2 legged dog of war?

If TacComm got together an original and open source set of rules free from copyright restrictions then seeing as we are constructing a growing range of 'behemoths', then I would have no problem in releasing miniatures for it.

Don't forget that there are already some superb models that would be eminently suited for such a game already. The Centaur mobile fortress, the DRM walkers, the EW Droid Controllers and Privateer Press WarJacks to name just a few.

We are a community and are in the unique situation to have a fair few miniatures producers on the forums. All we look for is a market, and if a decent set of rules were designed, well - it is in our own interests to create models for it.

Especially if we get hooked on playing it...  :vo

E&C: I know, just trying to 'encourage' you some more - realise you just took receipt of the big brother and need measurements. Lovely looking foot so far and I'm not really a foot-fancier!
