Hi, all the official Epic Armaggedon resouces can still be found on the official Games Workshop site.

The (2008) EPIC Errata and EPIC FAQ follow the 6x chapters of the main rules.

Hit problem is that whenever he makes an engagement his dice hate him for it, he has an epic talent of rolling like crap when it really matters.

And for some reason my terminators is the hardest unit I've EVER used, first time they saw combat they took over 40 hits, and only failed 2 saves. My Land Raiders or Leman Russ tanks never do so well...

I hope I haven't given away any of his plans then :)

Dice rolls aside, the biggest problem your opponent has is that the Death Guard are the ones initiating all the engagements.
