Oh wow.... that is amazing, well worth the wait. I'm up for pre-pay and would prefer a bound copy, but happy to go with whatever others want. Shipping to NZ and donation of excess to cancer fund is fine by me too.

I voted for the second option. Payment and shipping to Europe could be cleverly done. I'd like to see the book in a form like Swordwind.

FYI I emailed the folks at Bell of Lost Souls.  I am hoping that their experiences with GW (or lack thereof) will be a strong indicator as to how we can proceed.  Keep your fingers crossed.

It was asked twice and answered zero times.  I know he got the question because he responded to my other concerns in the emails.

Once again this is not a business transaction and is more akin to friends sharing printing costs at Kinkos than selling a book.  It's my butt anyway.  If they ask me to stop I will stop and refund everyone, minus any Paypal costs.  I hope that GW doesn't freak though because I'll take a bath on the start-up fee.  Oh well, no guts, no glory. :)

Go here for more detailed info.

Ok, a totally un-biased opinion now that I have got my copy in my grubby little paws :-

    Order your copy now!
It is easily as good in quality and quantity as anything produced commercially.

For reference i have voted "I am probably interested in a copy of Raiders and might pre-pay if I see enough interest." I will definitely be buying a copy if the contents become ERC official; as - unfortunately - most of my epic play is at tourneys.

You may be waiting a long time as the ERC is, essentially, defunct, and until GW reorganizes Specialist-Games, nothing will ever be made "official" by them again.

There is a NetERC that has taken over in an unofficial capacity in an attempt to keep EPIC:A alive, consisting of Nealhunt, Hena, and myself; and we've given a "thumbs up" to the Raiders project for what that's worth.

The Necron list in the Raiders book is the current 'state of the art' army list release by the Necron army champion, corey3750, and is considered to be the "official list" for them, with no major changes for a year. ?All the lists in the book would have to be "accepted" on an individual basis for tournament organizers as GW won't be putting any kind of official "stamp" on them in the foreseeable future.

The book is well worth it, btw.

For anyone sitting on the fence about this one, I bought a copy today from Moscovian hisself, and it is certainly an excellent product.

It's a win-win: you get a book of superb quality, and proceeds go to charity. Awesome!

Now that I have my copy, I'll chime in with my words of praise. I haven't read all of it yet, but it is a superb supplement.

Everyone that picked up their copy at the London tournament was suitable impressed. Bigger than the rule book and truly an impressive publication. Everyone involved should be rightly proud of the final product.

Thanks, Mephiston.  Glad we could make everyone happy.  Not to dwell on the negative but were there any problems with the books?  I already got feedback on the blurry pictures that occasion the modeling section - there wasn't much I could do about them unfortunately.

Feel free to comment.  Once Cybershadow is settled I am going to open a new thread and download description for the Pre-orders so that any 'critical' comments won't be glaring on the thread for people wanting to pick up a copy.  That way you won't feel like you are cutting into the sales. :)  Bear in mind I probably won't fix anything on the PDF unless it is hideous - changes will most likely be erratas and silly easy fixes (like adding my email address manually instead of a link, making the link text the same color as the regular text, etc.).

I guess I am looking for feedback on three categories:
1. Print related.  Problems with the print job itelf, binding, etc.
2. Content related where the feedback will help Chroma and others who are currently working on new supplements.
3. Glaring problems where stats are wrong, gross abuse of the English language, etc.
